Overall happy that Sedgley Court provides the care that I wont for my wife. Third visit. A little more attention to personal care, such as nails and regular showering would be bedficial, though no major concerns in this area.

I have never done a review before but I felt Sedgley Court deserved one. From the first contact to enquire about respite for my husband right through to the end of his stay I was treated with so much respect and kindness by all the staff. My husband has dementia and leaving him was far worse than I ever could have imagined, but once again the staff were brilliant caring and reassuring. All the staff treated my husband as a person introducing themselves shaking his hand and just being very warm and kind. I could go on but I will finish with this is a gem of a care home. Thank you all we will return soon.

Mom recently had a spell in hospital after a fall at home, as a family we decided on respite for mom and chose Sedgley Court.
In a few weeks she looks better and seems a lot stronger, the home is lovely, staff are amazing, so friendly, supportive and have made mom real feel at home..

wouldn't have no hesitation in recommending Sedgley Court.

I cannot praise the care team enough at Sedgley Court. It honestly felt like my Nan had gained an extension of her family when she lived there over two and a half years. A special mention for three members of staff who really went that extra mile while my Nan was poorly but all round have been there throughout the years. I felt like my Nan was in the safest of hands. But honestly the list of lovely care team names could really go on. You've been our rock. Thank you.

I have not given the 5 out of 5 purely as I feel communication from management in the office is lacking slightly.

But I honestly cannot fault the care team. They really make Sedgley court special. Not only am I missing my Nan but I'll be missing seeing the Sedgley court care team. Thanks again for making the last years of my nan's life special and loved.

I had to find respite care at very short notice for my father. One of the staff members was fantastic and completed all of the paperwork and assessment within 24 hours and dad went in the same day. He was quite unwell when he went in. But the staff soon had him back on his feet and within hours he was eating and making friends. My dad is very fussy about his food. But he was very happy with the choice and quality. He loved the room he was given and found it was very comfortable. The care home itself is very clean and does not smell like most care home. I have visited. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and everyone seem so happy and cheerful. If I ever had to go into a care home, I would hope to go to Sedgley Court.

My Mum has been at Sedgley Court for almost a year and has been cared for throughout that time with love, dignity and respect.

In the few months since my father passed away, Mum has received the extra support that she has needed to adjust to life without her beloved husband. Thank you to all the staff that have made this possible.

A couple of weeks ago I paid my second visit to Sedgley Court, my uncle and aunt. They have been in the home for reveal months now. I was very impressed with the home and it is beautifully furnished, both the lounge areas and the bedrooms. The staff are excellent, friendly and attentive and my aunt and uncle are so happy and well cared for.

Overall, I enjoyed my two-week respite care stay. Everyone you see is friendly and helpful and I was made to feel very welcome. I did get very warm on a couple of nights (it was very warm outside) and so a fan would have been useful. There was a great activities program but many things didn't go ahead because of a lack of interest. This is why I have rated it as satisfactory. The meals were excellent. Thank you very much for looking after me so well.

I have selected this month but this review relates to the last six months. Sedgley Court is a modern bright and comfortable care home. We have heard nothing but praise for the managers, staff and facilities and from what we have seen on our visits we couldn't agree more, it's a lovely place to live. My sister and brother-in-law enjoyed their last days at Sedgley Court and we were so grateful for the way the staff looked after them and helped them through their difficult times and would like to say a heartfelt thank you.

My father has been at Sedgley Court for just over a year and he is pleased and proud to call it home. He thoroughly enjoys the activities provided and is always complimentary about the food. The staff will always go the extra mile to meet his needs whether that is organising his 90th birthday party, accompanying him to the hospital or welcoming his friends who visit regularly. They provide care and support that is second to none and as I do not live locally this is very reassuring. I would recommend Sedgley Court to anyone looking for a residential home.

My brother-in-law first went to Sedgley Court for respite after a hospital stay but liked it so much and is now a permanent resident.
All the staff are so caring, kind and no job is too much trouble for them.
His health is so much better and that is purely down to the care he is receiving.
The premises are very impressive, just like a 5* hotel.

The activities are enjoyed by both residents and family, and we have been to quite a few already.

Dad came to Sedgley Court last November. He took a little time to settle in as he suffers from dementia but now seems content and seems to get on well with the staff. I looked around at a lot of care homes before choosing this one and have been pleased with the care and support he has received.
