The family are more than happy with the care and staff, and management is very welcoming. I would recommend it to others.

Mum was very apprehensive about moving into care, but from the moment we walked in for her first visit, she was made to feel welcome and valued. Before she moved in, she was underweight, confused and completely lacking in confidence. Now, after eight weeks, she has gained weight and is so much healthier and stronger. It is wonderful to see that she has regained her confidence and that her cheeky personality is back. She is involved in plenty of activities and outings, and every day she seems more content. Mum tells us that she feels cared for, secure and happy. The care provided is exceptional. All the staff are clearly passionate about what they do and have endless energy, good humour and patience. They treat Mum with respect whilst adapting their approach to suit her cheeky nature. The support they have provided to my sister and I has also been incredible, making the whole transition easy and worry-free.

Sedgley Court cared for my father for the last three months of his life with great respect, kindness and compassion. The management team are professional, efficient and always there for residents and their families. The facilities are exceptional. Particularly unique is the spacious lounge/dining room where residents eat and spent a lot of their day. The team are developing the number of available activities. Occasionally medication and personal care were a little slow, therefore, the maintenance of sufficient staffing levels is vital for excellent care. I a so pleased that my father spent his last days in such a genuine and caring community.

My mother moved into Sedgley Court for a two-week respite stay on leaving the hospital, having previously lived alone. Had visited Sedgley Court and found the home manager most helpful with advice on an area I was not familiar with. Within a few days, my mother decided to move in on a permanent basis. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff excellent and activities arranged daily. My mum is now as well mentally and physically as she has been for a long time and is happy and settled.

The care and kindness given to my husband during his stay were first-class. The staff were always friendly to the family when they visited and always happy to talk on the phone and take the phone to my husband to reassure him we were in contact.

Excellent care has been given to my stepmom. The staff are friendly and helpful. The conditions are of a very high standard.

My mother came to Sedgley Court after a fall at home. She has received the very best care helping her recover. The food is excellent; my mother has really enjoyed the roast dinner and puddings. The staff are helpful and caring, pampering my mother while recovering. She is happier than she has been for ages.

On a visit to Sedgley Court to see my sister-in-law, through the help of the staff, nothing is too much trouble for them. I would say to anyone who is looking for a comfortable retirement; you can't fault it.

My father has settled in extremely well, considering he was fairly anxious about coming in. It seems he has made some lovely friends whilst being here. All staff treat my uncle as family and all contact with them myself has been polite and professional.

Trying to find the right care home for a loved one is a massive task and one of the most important decisions we have to make. I have no reservation whatsoever in recommending Sedgley Court to anyone in this situation. The staff are one cohesive team, led by a strong manager, all intent on delivering the best standard of care possible for the residents, whatever that may look like for each individual. Mom has been at Sedgley Court now for a few months and the reassurances and promises we were given on being shown round have all come to fruition. Mom has had some difficult times over those months and each time the team at Sedgley Court have been tested, they have delivered, with many members of staff going well beyond their job description in order to deliver with the utmost level of professionalism. Sedgley Court is so much more than a care home; it is a home where the people care.

My parents have settled in well. They cannot fault the care, staff or food. The building is well fitted, and the views are lovely; they enjoy watching the dog walkers.

My nan has moved into Sedgley Court in April 2021, and I can honestly say it is the best care home I have experienced. On the day Nan moved in, we were allowed to help her settle in with staff all introducing themselves to us, and Nan throughout the day, and ensuring that we had everything we needed. My nan has settled in so well, and all staff have been absolutely brilliant. Nan has dementia, so at times needs reassurance during periods of distress and upset, and each time, the care staff have been faultless in dealing with times of upset, using Nan’s life history to help distract and divert, highlighting the best person-centred care for each resident. The activities that Sedgley Court run is outstanding; they are currently doing around the world cruise, allowing residents to experience different cultures, music, dancing and providing new and stimulating activities. I would 1000% recommend Sedgley Court. I cannot thank all at Sedgley Court enough for helping Nan settle so well!

My aunt is currently at the home for a trial. However, she has decided to make this her new home as she feels so well cared for by the wonderful staff. She has been made to feel one of the "family" from the moment she arrived. She has had a tremendous improvement in the short time that she has been a resident. She has regained her positive outlook and is looking forward to regaining her independence with the care and support of the staff.
