My wife has been in Admirals Reach for over a year now, during which time she has received very professional care and is always treated with respect and kindness. The staff are so kind and caring and my wife is always well dressed and clean. Seeing the way staff deal with other residents reassures me
that my loved one is being well cared for.
I have to thank all the staff for the attention they give to all residents, and of course for the benefit I get from the coffee and chats when things get me down.

My father Philip was admitted in July of this year with terminal cancer. He sadly deteriorated rapidly and passed away in November. Throughout his stay care and nursing staff were highly responsive to his changing needs. Utmost care was taken to reduce pain and with the support of the hospice his
medication was monitored and adjusted.
All staff at the home were kind, thoughtful, with my father's welfare at their absolute priority. His room was kept very clean. His clothes were well laundered and he appreciated the choice of lunch, especially as choices were shown to him prior to serving.
Sadly two of his paintings were not put on his room wall and subsequently disappeared.
I have nothing but admiration for the kindness and patience shown by all staff he came into contact with.
On my father's behalf a big thank you to you all.

My wife's mum moved into Godden Lodge a few months ago following a downward trend with her health and general care. As with all families we experienced much sadness with this situation. However from day one the staff at Godden Lodge have made her stay incredibly welcoming and she is now happily settled
in to the routine of care home living! We cannot thank enough the team that look after her needs, and are amazed at the everyday efforts that are made to entertain her and fellow residents. She is loving the excellent food (especially deserts) the kindness and the secure feeling of this new home. We too enjoy visiting and on her recent 94th birthday along with some musical friends of ours the Lodge hosted a lovely party that went off superbly! We are so grateful to you all for being so good at your caring and making the residents so comfortable at Godden Lodge. We look forward to a long and happy relationship with you all. Roger & Cheryl

The care has always been excellent for my dad, he has been here over 5 years, and the most important thing is that all the main nurses are the same as when he first arrived, who are all excellent.
All the carers are excellent and very hard working, and nothing is a problem for them.

My mother was placed at Larchwood from hospital after falling at home. She only stayed for six weeks but I was very impressed with the home and care provided.
The staff showed genuine interest in the residents and gladly participated in activities with them.
A pressure mat was placed by her bed
and on our first visit we accidentally stood on it, a carer was in the room within 20 seconds, very impressive.

My dad has been a resident of the care home for almost 4 years with Alzheimer's disease. During this time I have been extremely satisfied with his care. He is always clean and tidy, as is his room. I know he is happy and content even though there have been challenges with his illness.
He enjoys the
entertainment, especially the music and singing. The food is amazing and cooked on site. The most important thing for me is how caring and professional the staff are. Nothing is too much trouble and they keep you well informed. They are amazing.

Mum has been at Larchwood for a few months now. She came in after a long hospital stay. It's the quality of care and the staff at this home that is brilliant. Mum is now walking, with a frame, rather than a bed bound. She is looking better than she has done for a long time and she says herself she feels
safe and cared for. A happy mum is wonderful to see after she was so anxious living on her own in her house.

Douglas was very happy at this home. When we visited, he never complained to us about anything. The staff are amazing. Very hospitable and always listened to any concerns which we may have had. Douglas was always clean and well groomed, and the food was very good, too. I would recommend this care home

Douglas was very happy at the care home. Whenever we visited, the staff were amazing. They offered us drinks, and their overall hospitality was excellent. I've lived here for nearly eight years now and it really feels like home. The staff are there to help when you need it but also very encouraging for you to carry on doing as much as you can for yourself in a safe manor. Every staff are so approachable and friend;y. I really love being here it has saved
me from myself I feel relaxed and happy for first time since my husband passed away. We have so much fun and laughter everyday.

Find staff to be very friendly to both my mum from admin to carers to catering staff and office staff. Was very worried about Mum's experience in a care home, but this was soon dispelled as staff seem very attentive and professional. Very happy overall. Room is a good size and good to have a bathroom.
