My mother has been here since October 2025 after living in her house for 65 years so it was a very emotional and difficult move to make. The staff were so welcoming and helped Mam to settle well. We bought curtains, bedding, a new TV, recliner chair and altered the room around to make it "her" room.
We had help from the friendly chap who is really talented and a brilliant caretaker. The staff are all so friendly and caring and really make this a home from home.

My parents moved into Peniel Green a few weeks ago. My mother has told me that my father is getting excellent care so I am really pleased. Thank you for all you are doing Peniel Green staff. They are enjoying their food. My mother is especially enjoying the activities. Although my dad is more limited
in what he can do he really enjoyed the harpist as classical music is something he enjoys. Thank you for putting me at ease at being so welcoming when I visit.

My mum is incredibly happy at the home. The staff are fantastic with Mum and the family. She is kept clean and tidy. The manager is really good, and they keep us updated with the happenings in the home, which is great for the family. Mum enjoys the food. My mum loves the entertainment, especially the
singers. As a family we are incredibly happy with the care of my mum at the home.

Having made the tough decision of having to put my mum in a care home end of May 2025. I am so glad she went into Peniel Green. The team are so welcoming and accomodating and my mum has settled in really well and I have peace of mind knowing she is well looked after.

My mother in law is in palliative care and is being wonderfully looked after. She loves the food and having a restaurant downstairs is a huge plus (although she can't get down there now). The staff are friendly and seem to genuinely work well together. It's a lovely environment to be in for family as
well as the resident.

My mother has recently moved to the home and has settled in quickly. The staff are extremely caring and have adapted to meet mum's needs perfectly. The home is a welcoming place to visit, and the staff are very welcoming and friendly when I visit. The home is clean and cosy and has a lovely restaurant
for mealtimes. Visitors are always welcome to visit residents in the lounge or in the bar area as they choose.

My mum is on palliative care, and as a result of the kind staff, excellent food and first class attention has been doing well. I am so impressed with the time staff give residents, the bespoke food my mum needs at this stage and the care all staff show for the family visiting. Most importantly, the
staff contact us with any concerns so we are fully aware of how she is doing. The management are fantastic, and the transition into the home was stress free, and mum from the beginning was so well cared for and felt welcome.

My father went in to the care home for palliative care and was there for two weeks. The home provided a high standard of care and treated my father with respect and dignity. The staff were all very friendly and always made us as a family very welcome. As a qualified nurse I would have liked to have
been involved more in my father's care, I had nursed him at home and he allowed me to do it previously. I was asked to wait outside the room when the carers were attending to him. Despite this I was very pleased with how my father was cared for and he passed away peacefully with dignity and respect. Please thank the staff of the home, they were tremendous.

Always a warm welcome for visitors at Peniel Green. Kath (Deputy) has been very helpful explaining to me about my mother's medical needs and very supportive. My little granddaughter is always spoilt by the staff fussing over her! So glad I found this home for my dear mum.

My sister has been resident in your home since 12/07/25. "She is bed ridden". I was able to visit her on the 10th August 2025. I discovered that even though she had a television in her room it was not in working order. I asked 2 members of staff about the TV and they attempted to switch it on. I would
have expected a member of staff to check that the TV was in working order However, it was blatently obvious to me that it had no cable/aerial connection. I,m totally disappointed/angered that she spent approx 3 weeks in the home in isolation without any source of entertainment. Even worse I believe it borders on cruelty to have a "Non Working TV in your room". The TV has now been replaced with a smaller TV. My sister has limited vision and is only able to see with one eye, but better a small working TV than nothing.
Reply from Julie Caygill, Hospital Liaison Team Administrator at St Martin's Court Care HomeThank you for bringing this matter to our attention. I am sorry to hear about the difficulties your sister has experienced with the television in her room, we addressed this matter when brought to our attention, please feel free to call in and discuss this with the Manager next time you visit. Your feedback is valuable in helping us address any shortcomings and improve our care. Thank you again for raising your concerns, and please be assured we take them very seriously.

The care my Mum receives at Peniel Green is second to none. The residents are treated with the utmost respect and every carer is incredible. The home provides a huge range of activities which provide something for everyone. Family members are able to join in and visit any tie they wish. I honestly cannot
fault any aspect of care here, everything is very happy. I am so happy that my Mum is a resident at Peniel Green, it has given me back my relationship with her.

It is so good to see my mother enjoying the company of the other residents. The care and facilities are very good. All the family think that this home is what was needed for our mother, as she was mostly on her own in her home.
