From day one my Mother was treated with respect and Kindness by all the staff at Summerhill. As a regular visitor to the home I was always greeted with a friendly smile and felt that I could approach staff it I had a problem. Mum was able to spend her last days being cared for by people that she knew,
in a calm and comforting environment. My family are so grateful for the level of care that my Mum received as a resident at Summerhill and I would not hesitate to recommend the home to anybody wanting the best for their loved ones.

My mother in law has been a resident at Cold Springs Park for the past 8 years. My experience of the service provided has been excellent. We are kept up to date on all aspects of her care. Any very minor issues are dealt with immediately. The care given from all staff is delivered in a very caring and
respectful manner. The food provided is of a very good standard in both quantity and quality. The accommodation is kept very clean. She is always very clean and has clean clothes on. Very pleased all round.

Winter's Park is a very caring and friendly place. The rooms are kept clean, linen and clothes laundered and looked after. The food is good quality and varied. The programme for the week shows enterprise in its activities. Whereas the management is unobtrusive, the staff are most obliging, helpful and
friendly and make you feel welcome. Si the residents are treated with the dignity they deserve, you know they are safe, secure and loved. The overall experience is good value for money.

My friend is a resident here. I come to visit fortnightly. They are well cared for. The food always looks good with plenty of choice. He has a nice room which is always clean and tidy. Activities seem to have a good balance.

My mum moved into the home in December 2024, staff are kind and knowledgeable. Seniors all know what is going on and are always there to speak to. All staff we see are helpful.

My parents have been at Cold Springs for most of this year - they are settled, well cared for and safe. After years of juggling carers at home I can say that life is much better for them and for me. I know I will get a call if there is a problem and that we will resolve it together. In the meantime,
my parents are cared for by dedicated, kind and skilled staff in a place close to their home. I am grateful to everyone at Cold Springs who helps to make life comfortable for those who need extra help. Thank you.

After my latest visit to see my dear mother yesterday I felt compelled to post a second review. Sadly Mum's dementia continues to progress but, despite this she always seems very well cared for and devours her meals. Kind and considerate staff go above and beyond the call of duty. Our dad has been a resident for over a year now when he moved to Summerhill after a period of poor health. He soon improved with the support of the care team and has been in a steady state healthwise since then. Mentally he is much happier and less anxious as he knows the care team is there to help
him when he needs it. We have been impressed by the whole team at Summerhill, from the receptionists to the managers we have met. Everyone seems genuinely engaged with the residents' well-being and willing to take time to talk to them and keep their spirits up.

The carers are very kind and caring with Gran, ensuring her needs are met.
The staff in the home are friendly and always willing to help or answer questions.
Gran's room is kept tidy and clothes are cleaned regularly.
I do feel that the staff work hard and would sometimes benefit from more staff
to meet the demands of some of the residents. They sometimes appear overstretched!

My aunt is happy here (though doesn't like the amount the fees are). The staff are very kind and attentive. The food is good, but she does forget to ask for it to be cut up for her.

My Mother was in the care home for 2 years until her death in June. from the laundry ladies, cooks, cleaners and care staff we could not fault any of them. The care they showed to us was superb. Just a shame that someone from management sent us this 6 days after my Mother's death to fill out.
How insensitive
could someone be, could not even wait until after the funeral. Would I recommend, yes to the staff, no to certain management!

The care is second to none, my father has dementia but is treated with compassion and dignity. All the staff are kind and professional. Every member of the team makes a point of greeting every resident when they see them in the corridors etc and it makes for an immensely welcoming, friendly atmosphere.
The activities coordinators put on a good range of activities (some group and some individual) and a huge number of residents happily join in. The management team is superb and I know that my Dad is happy, well cared for, and most importantly, safe. All the staff work as one coordinated team and I am delighted to recommend Cold Springs to everyone I meet!

Mum is a reluctant resident who has memory problems. It has taken five weeks to accept that she needs full-time care. The staff have won her over, the level of care and support is excellent. Mum is always clean and tidy. Mum enjoys the organised activities.

The whole care package was wonderful from cleanliness of accommodation, keeping clothes washed and returned, personal hygiene, and dignity. The caring but fun attitude of staff from all depts was brilliant, which must be hard at some times - but we were always greeted with an update and smile when we
visited, or contact via the phone. I would highly recommend Cold Springs Park to anyone.
