My father-in-law went into Brize Meadow for respite but so enjoyed his stay that he decided to stay. He is well looked after by caring, attentive staff who keep us well informed. We attended the home's New Year celebration which everyone enjoyed, residents, family and staff as one. We feel happy that
our parent is in a lovely environment for his last years.

My mother has dementia which unfortunately is now having an impact on her behaviour and leads to her losing her temper. While visiting her last week she became anxious and frustrated resulting in a fall. I called for help and the staff were very quick to arrive, helping her to get comfortable and check
for any injury. I'm so grateful for the compassion & care they all showed, not only to Mum but also to me.

I have recently spent two weeks respite care at Launton Grange. Without exception the staff were helpful and efficient, the food was good, afternoon tea/ coffee with freshly baked cake was much appreciated, and there was a variety of daily activities. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming and
I would "sing its praises".

It has been two months since Mum moved into Launton Grange. As for all new residents, this involved a significant change of lifestyle, but we feel the move was handled carefully and sensitively by the Staff. Mum was warmly welcomed from the outset by Staff and residents alike, which has helped her settle
in, make new friends and adapt to her new daily routines. We are particularly impressed by the range of daily activities and special events that are now enriching Mum's life, and photos of her celebrating the recent Women's football win with other residents were a real pleasure to see.

Nobody really wants their close relative to go in to a care home. It certainly wasn't something that I embraced. But this place feels like a hotel when you walk in. The decor is really nice. Most importantly the management and staff are all lovely. They are very caring and they are simply focused on
the residents and their needs.
There's too many makes to mention to thank but The manger could not be any better, she cares enormously and then there's one member of staff, in particular, who just brightens everybody's day. and then there's another member of staff that has the kindest soul out there. Every single member of the team 'cares' and i know it's what they're paid to do but they do it with all of their soul and passion.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything that you do every second of the day. Without you all we would be so lost. Mum is very lucky to have you all.

Everything at Launton Grange is designed to make the residents as comfortable and as happy as possible. Realistically nobody wants to be a Care Home resident but the team at Launton Grange make tremendous efforts to take this feeling away. They are always cheerful, patient and caring. The environment
is delightful and the quality of the catering is praised by all. Well done Launton Grange!

My dear mum has been a resident of Launton Grange for a year now and this care home comes highly recommended by me and my mum
The team of staff there are outstanding (and multi-talented) and many of them have been there a long while which is testament to what a great place it is to work. Each and
every one of them is patient, caring and kind and they understand every little thing that is important to a resident
They take a great deal of care with every aspect of life at Launton Grange and the regular extra events and celebrations are amazing. The mothers day tea was fabulous, as was the garden party (scones, pimms, ice cream, musical entertainment - what's not to like!) and all these things take a huge amount of organising
I recommend this LG to anyone who is looking for a genuinely excellent care home

When my Dad passed away last year, my Mum was in hospital, and I visited several care homes to find a place where she would be looked after and have companionship - although physically frail, she is mentally active. When I visited Brize Meadow, I knew I had found the ideal home for her. The staff
are superb - kind, caring, and mindful of residents' individual needs. There are many activities (Mum loves films in the cinema room, and musical performances) and the food is wonderful - delicious meals and great cakes! The building is light and airy, with smart, comfortable furnishings, and the delightful garden is easily accessed. One huge plus for Mum is the policy on pets - there are birds there which she feeds, and families are able to bring animals to the home. Visiting dogs always bring joy to the residents! Mum tried respite care last year and decided she wanted to stay permanently. I am delighted that she is so content, settled and well cared for in her new surroundings.

It's always good to see my mother looking relaxed and well when we visit. She is very well cared for by lovely cheerful staff. Usually during a phone call with her a member of staff will call in to see her with a drink or snack or to check things are OK. This is very reassuring for me.
In March, a
lovely mother's day celebration was laid on with beautifully laid tables with cake stands full of tasty cakes etc and bubbly plus very nice music in the background and decorations overhead. We all really enjoyed it.
There are plenty of varied activities for the residents to take part in e.g. quizzes, craft making, baking. Visiting entertainment groups include singers and hand bell ringers. Sometimes unusual visitors turn up e.g. a miniature pony!
I would definitely recommend Launton Grange to anyone who is looking for a genuinely caring care home.

From the first time I stepped into Brize, it felt good! It's bright, spacious & well designed. The room on the Ground Floor my Father was allocated was also a good size with all amenities, looking out onto a small garden. At 97, it wasn't easy for my father having been so independant - the staff, however
knew how to treat him - that was with considerable kindness & care.
He was only there 7 months until his passing but he was made comfortable right up to the end.
