Overall Experience

Mum has been at Launton Grange for well over a year now, and I couldn't be happier with the care and support she receives. All the staff are friendly and genuinely caring, always happy to help with any questions or needs we might have, and as her daughter I'm welcomed in as part of the Launton Grange family, which is lovely. Medical issues are spotted and dealt with quickly. Mum is free to join in with the daily activities as she wishes, but is never forced. The food is good, and mum has put on weight since she was living on her own, which is a really positive indication of her well-being. In general, mum seems settled and happier in herself since moving in.

My mother has been in Launton Grange since August 2025 and has been cared for with great kindness and consideration by all of the staff. Food is good with great variety and nothing is too much trouble.
We had Christmas lunch this year which was really good and my mother loved it!

It is very hard to think how it could be improved a very caring, honest home.

Mum is in respite care for a month.
The home is beautiful, clean, amazing entertainment. Arts and crafts which mum is enjoying taking part in. The staff are all very friendly and helpful especially Osmera.

The meal quality is excellent. Mums room is clean and modern like a hotel. I'm sure mum will now stay there permanently.

Launton Grange provided a perfect setting for my mother's 100th birthday party. They had beautifully decorated the room for us and put on a good buffet lunch. The smiling staff kept popping in during the party to make sure we had everything we needed. And the cake was brilliant! Our family thoroughly enjoyed the event.

The staff are wonderful caring people with always a welcoming smile. We're all very impressed and happy with the way my mother is cared for.

Inside the building there is a lovely feel to the place - nicely decorated and laid out. Extra decorations on special occasions e.g Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day. No nasty smells!

Overall Experience
We moved our 92 year old Uncle into Launton Grange 6 months ago when he could no longer cope at home. Unfortunately he's a very reluctant resident and won't leave his room and mix with others. The staff are all really welcoming and friendly and always pop their heads in to make sure he's OK & to have a little chat. He's well looked after, and despite his years he has managed to put on half a stone in weight - testament to being settled & eating well in there. There are different daily activities planned, it's a shame that he won't join in, but the other residents look like they are always having fun.

Launton Grange is a nice, modern, clean care home; they say first impressions count & this one made a good first impression on us.

Overall Experience
My mum (who is now 99) has lived at Launton Grange for almost 2 years and the care she receives every single day is exemplary. It was a hard decision for her to leave her own home and we could not have chosen a better place for her to live.
The care and respect shown to her and all of the residents is second to none and there is nothing that is too much trouble. Every member of the team is fabulous, from the lovely Annie (front of house manager), to the management team, seniors, care staff, housekeeping and kitchen staff (and Robin, Mr Fixit).
My brother and I are so very grateful for all that they do to support and care for our mum.

Huge thank you from us

I want to express how wonderful this care home was in looking after my father during the seven months he lived there. He received outstanding care from truly kind and compassionate staff, who supported not only him but also my mum and me. We were always made to feel welcome when visiting and appreciated being able to share meals with Dad in such a warm, friendly environment.

The home organised social events that brought together staff, residents, and families, creating a strong sense of community. My father had a stoma bag and, due to dementia, couldn't manage it himself. Although no other resident had one, the staff undertook specialist training to care for him properly. Their dedication meant so much to us. I highly recommend this safe and caring home.

My father-in-law went into Brize Meadow for respite but so enjoyed his stay that he decided to stay. He is well looked after by caring, attentive staff who keep us well informed. We attended the home's New Year celebration which everyone enjoyed, residents, family and staff as one. We feel happy that our parent is in a lovely environment for his last years.

My mother has dementia which unfortunately is now having an impact on her behaviour and leads to her losing her temper. While visiting her last week she became anxious and frustrated resulting in a fall. I called for help and the staff were very quick to arrive, helping her to get comfortable and check for any injury. I'm so grateful for the compassion & care they all showed, not only to Mum but also to me.

I have recently spent two weeks respite care at Launton Grange. Without exception the staff were helpful and efficient, the food was good, afternoon tea/ coffee with freshly baked cake was much appreciated, and there was a variety of daily activities. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming and I would "sing its praises".

It has been two months since Mum moved into Launton Grange. As for all new residents, this involved a significant change of lifestyle, but we feel the move was handled carefully and sensitively by the Staff. Mum was warmly welcomed from the outset by Staff and residents alike, which has helped her settle in, make new friends and adapt to her new daily routines. We are particularly impressed by the range of daily activities and special events that are now enriching Mum's life, and photos of her celebrating the recent Women's football win with other residents were a real pleasure to see.

Nobody really wants their close relative to go in to a care home. It certainly wasn't something that I embraced. But this place feels like a hotel when you walk in. The decor is really nice. Most importantly the management and staff are all lovely. They are very caring and they are simply focused on the residents and their needs.
There's too many makes to mention to thank but The manger could not be any better, she cares enormously and then there's one member of staff, in particular, who just brightens everybody's day. and then there's another member of staff that has the kindest soul out there. Every single member of the team 'cares' and i know it's what they're paid to do but they do it with all of their soul and passion.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything that you do every second of the day. Without you all we would be so lost. Mum is very lucky to have you all.

Everything at Launton Grange is designed to make the residents as comfortable and as happy as possible. Realistically nobody wants to be a Care Home resident but the team at Launton Grange make tremendous efforts to take this feeling away. They are always cheerful, patient and caring.
