Nobody really wants their close relative to go in to a care home. It certainly wasn't something that I embraced. But this place feels like a hotel when you walk in. The decor is really nice. Most importantly the management and staff are all lovely. They are very caring and they are simply focused on
the residents and their needs.
There's too many makes to mention to thank but The manger could not be any better, she cares enormously and then there's one member of staff, in particular, who just brightens everybody's day. and then there's another member of staff that has the kindest soul out there. Every single member of the team 'cares' and i know it's what they're paid to do but they do it with all of their soul and passion.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything that you do every second of the day. Without you all we would be so lost. Mum is very lucky to have you all.

Mum has been very well looked after. The staff are warm and kind and the care home is clean bright and has a happy atmosphere, visitors are treated with respect. When we ask any questions, the staff always ensure a fill and thorough answer. Mum is very happy and has enjoyed her stay at the care home.

Whilst it is never nice having to place someone in a home especially someone you love. The team at Bronze Meadow Lodge have been very supportive and helpful. It is a pleasure to visit the home it feels more like a hotel than a home which is nice.

When my Dad passed away last year, my Mum was in hospital, and I visited several care homes to find a place where she would be looked after and have companionship - although physically frail, she is mentally active. When I visited Brize Meadow, I knew I had found the ideal home for her. The staff
are superb - kind, caring, and mindful of residents' individual needs. There are many activities (Mum loves films in the cinema room, and musical performances) and the food is wonderful - delicious meals and great cakes! The building is light and airy, with smart, comfortable furnishings, and the delightful garden is easily accessed. One huge plus for Mum is the policy on pets - there are birds there which she feeds, and families are able to bring animals to the home. Visiting dogs always bring joy to the residents! Mum tried respite care last year and decided she wanted to stay permanently. I am delighted that she is so content, settled and well cared for in her new surroundings.

From the first time I stepped into Brize, it felt good! It's bright, spacious & well designed. The room on the Ground Floor my Father was allocated was also a good size with all amenities, looking out onto a small garden. At 97, it wasn't easy for my father having been so independant - the staff, however
knew how to treat him - that was with considerable kindness & care.
He was only there 7 months until his passing but he was made comfortable right up to the end.

I have had a good time staying here. Was only for 2 weeks of respite care, but I am going before I can't manage on my own. The staff are very friendly and helpful, it is like a hotel. Could do with different activities some weeks. Needs a few different fillings in sandwiches.

Accommodation clean and comfortable, like a luxury hotel. Staff all seem professional, caring and helpful. Food seems attractive and looks nutritious and varied. All in all, I am impressed with all aspects and consider it fortunate to have a care home so close to home (approx. 5 miles).

I have used Brize Meadow for respite several times over the last couple of years for my parents who are in their nineties. Due to an infection and their increasing needs they moved in permanently in November 2024, where the staff helped with the transfer of my mum from hospital directly to the home.
I have been very grateful for the enormous care that my mum and dad have received throughout this process. They are now settled and content and looked after excellently. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and their commitment to ensuring that their stay is comfortable. As has been mentioned elsewhere, the home is bright and feels like a high class hotel. The atmosphere is calm, comfortable and welcoming and the staff display a genuine affection and care for the residents. Would give 7 stars if I could!

Mother, aged 103 years, stayed for six weeks. We were delighted with the whole standard of care.

Since my mum moved to Brize Meadow Lodge in August this year, the staff could not have done more to support her and our family. The management team have shown patience and flexibility as we continue to navigate our way through securing funding, sharing their knowledge and experience of the systems in
place to support us while in the process of selling Mum's house. The management team and carers work tirelessly to establish relationships with residents based on trust and respect. They are always quick to respond when there is an issue and their understanding of and insight into Alzheimer's disease on my mum's behaviour has been invaluable. My mum feels safe and secure at Brize Meadow Lodge and I am confident that she is well cared for by a team that puts the needs of their residents at the heart of all they do.

My mother has been well looked after in the eight months that she has been residing in Brize Meadow Lodge. The staff are wonderful and the management are caring, kind and very approachable. It is more like a family home with a good feeling. My mum likes all the staff, particularly three members of staff.
The rooms are fabulous - more like a posh hotel and Mum is so happy to have her own shower.

My mother has been in Brize Meadow Lodge for nearly three months having respite care, prior to us moving her to a retirement apartment. We have been very happy with most aspects of the care home and even my mother, who has always been hard to please, has been unable to find fault. The only area for
improvement would be communication. Acknowledgement of emails would have been reassuring and there were times I should have been informed when something had arisen. Would have liked regular care updates and Mum would have appreciated more organised trips from the care home.

I was extremely impressed by this care home on both occasions that I visited a friend who is a resident there. It is a very welcoming environment in terms of the very pleasant decor and furniture. The level of quality of care was excellent as far as I could see. I was amazed that meals are served to

Brize Meadow has the feel of a four-star hotel. I knew this was the place for Mum the moment I walked through the doors. There is always a friendly welcome, and the staff and carers could not be more kind and helpful. Mum has said how happy she is there.
I have been able to stay for lunch with Mum
on occasion, and I know some family visits when tea and cake are being served!
There is something happening most days which Mum enjoys, and I am enjoying seeing my mum again as a daughter and not her carer any more.
