Overall Experience

My husband moved into Lunan Court in May of this year. The staff have been excellent and the care they give my husband is superb, nothing is too much trouble. It is a very happy environment. The staff are very welcoming when family and friends visit. There are plenty of activities residents can join

in and there's regular entertainment. The food consists of nice homemade meals. The rooms are spotless and the laundry is done to a high standard. I am happy that my husband is getting well looked after.

Overall Experience

The care and empathy shown to mum throughout her 2 years at Ballumbie Court was fantastic. Despite mum being non-verbal and immobile, she was treated as every other resident and was in the day room whenever I visited. The staff were all fantastic, always attentive to both mum and us.

Overall Experience

My father received the very best, kind, sympathetic care during the five months he resided at Lunan Court prior to his passing in August 2025.
Staff were friendly, sympathetic to his needs and very caring. The weekend nurse was outstanding. Importantly the caring attitude extended to my mother during

her visits. Being able to visit at any time was vital. Visiting during meal times allowed a more individual family time and the quiet room was a red bonus for us.

Overall Experience

We're always treated very well at Ballumbie Court Care home when we visit my dad. My disabled mother is allowed to use the list. We are offered drinks and snacks if available. My dad is always looked after and staff are willing to let us know how he's getting on. We have been able to plant some nice

flowers in the garden for the residents to enjoy. My dad is happy to socialise with the staff and they are very kind to him. He was given a lovely fidget vest as he likes to use his hands a lot. Dad is in a very good mood at the time of writing this and has been given a nice haircut. Staff look after the sweeties we bring him and pass them out to him.

Visited my brother today at Balumbie as soon as I walked in I could hear cries of desperation, my brother has been non verbal for a few years (doesn't even make a noise) so I I was shocked to see it was him, his head face & neck were torn to pieces with him scratching, everyone seemed to be oblivious

to this apart from one old man who was a patient, he was shouting , "help him , he doesn't like it", so can someone explain to me how an old man who presumably has dementia noticed my brother's distress but no one else did, I had to advise staff to get a doctor, they told me he had been like that for a month, he had an exfoliant & shampoo that they had been using but very obviously not working, the village idiot would have noticed!!! when your brother is looking into your eyes & begging for help it's the most heartbreaking thing you can ever imagine, they finally got a steroid cream to hopefully calm the itching, when are we going to. Stop these kind of things happening!!!

Overall Experience

My dad was only a resident for a short period of time. From our first visit I knew we had made the right choice of home.the staff are so lovely and welcoming. Nothing was too much of an inconvenience for them. My dad was well looked after can't thank them enough for that. Sadly my dad's health deteriorated

rapidly. In his final days they where very supportive to myself and my mum we stayed over and they where always coming and asking if we needed any food or drink. Sometimes a cuddle. From the bottom of my heart. Thank you once again for the care you all gave my dad in his final stage of his life. Will be forever grateful.
