My husband has been resident for 2 1/2 years and during this time until his passing I have nothing but praise for the way he was looked after from the Management down to the cleaners, The staff were very caring and respectful and if there was anything I needed to speak to them about they listened and sorted it out. The Home is very friendly and you always feel welcome when you visit. During this time they made me feel good knowing my husband was being well looked after.

My husband went to Finavon Court from December 23 until Dec 25. In these two years at Finavon Court, he got exceptional care, love and understanding from all staff. He had extreme behavioural problems from day one. I was very impressed with Finavon Court's understanding and encouragement with there dealinh with his extreme dementia, their care was exceptional to him and my family, we will be forever grateful to the Finavon Court team for all their help and support at their very difficult times. I would recommend Finavon Court Care Home for your loved ones cannot thank them enough.

I always found the staff very friendly and always ready to answer any questions I had, and was always kept up to date about her condition. Mum always seemed well cared for. During Mum's last few weeks, the care and comfort she got was exceptional and treated with dignity at all times. The support I received during this difficult time was also extremely good and was very much appreciated.

My dad was only a resident for a short period of time. From our first visit I knew we had made the right choice of home.the staff are so lovely and welcoming. Nothing was too much of an inconvenience for them. My dad was well looked after can't thank them enough for that. Sadly my dad's health deteriorated rapidly. In his final days they where very supportive to myself and my mum we stayed over and they where always coming and asking if we needed any food or drink. Sometimes a cuddle. From the bottom of my heart. Thank you once again for the care you all gave my dad in his final stage of his life. Will be forever grateful.

From our initial meeting with the care manager at our dad's assessment we have had a great experience with all of the administrative and care/nursing staff they have always given us a warm welcome, any information or advice we needed. Our dad felt happy in Finavon Court and appreciate all of the kindness he received. I can't praise the home enough, for looking after our dad in his final months. Thank you.

I was impressed with the Manager from from my first visit, and Deputy Manger when she came to our home to assess my husband for suitability to the home. I never regretted my decision to choose to agree to him going in, firstly for the 6 weeks respite. During that time it was clear he was better cared for there and so it became permanent. All staff were so caring and patient with both him and myself that I am so glad he spend his last 6 months in their care. It was a difficult decision to make but I am glad we chose Finavon Court Care Home.

Finavon Court Care Home is a fantastic home with such dedicated staff that really care. Our uncle was made very welcome by the friendly and caring staff. They were understanding of my uncle's needs and very supportive of my sister and me. He was very happy there and was treated with such dignity and respect. He had a good rapport with the staff as well as management who would often take the time to talk to residents and their families. We were kept up to date with regards to our uncle and any questions were always addressed. We always found the staff very helpful, cheerful and polite. We cannot thank the care staff enough for the care he received whilst there and for the dignified and gentle way they helped us deal with his passing. Such an amazing team.

My uncle was well looked after by all the nursing staff and carers. He made strong bonds with the staff which was a huge weight off my sisters and I. Staff always phoned to keep us updated with any changes in his health and were quick to alert GP if any issues. We were always made to feel welcome to visit. During the last few weeks of my uncle's life, one of the family was there 24 hours a day and the staff were amazing, always asking if we were ok and looking after his needs. Staff a huge credit to the company.

My dad is very well looked after by the staff. He gets his meals every day and really enjoys his food. We come in about three times a week in the afternoon and feed him his dinner or a pudding. He has a good relationship with the staff, always laughing and joking with them.

The first time I visited when my gran was looking for a care home, the environment felt very comfortable, safe and cosy. Whenever we have visited Gran since, the care home has been a great experience. Gran has been happier/healthier overall, much better than she was before coming here, for that alone I am very grateful for everyone who works here.

I am very grateful to Finavon Court for looking after my husband since August 2023 as it was too much for me at home myself. The staff have been great and welcomed and supported him well, as well as myself. If I have any questions or queries. The only issue we have is his belongings and laundry are constantly going missing (even if labelled) and we are having to replace them as he ends up with other residents' clothes on.

Reply from Clare Sheehan, Careline Advisor at Finavon Court Care Home

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us a review. We are very sorry to hear that we have fallen below standard for our laundry. We have been changing processes in the home to reduce the risk of missing laundry and belongings in the home. Our Home Manager and Head Housekeeper are available to discuss any missing items and concerns that you have.
