She has always been a quiet person and the activities I have seen have always been loud. Allowing her to stay in her room at such times would perhaps be kinder.
Thank you for your review about the care which your friend receives here at the home, we endeavour to cater for everyone's needs when it comes to activities and we can not please everyone all the time, only some of our residents for some of the time. However we know that she enjoys quiet times when we are reading the papers etc..
The care staff at Bowbridge Court have looked after my cousin extremely well. During a recent incident which involved a hospital stay I was kept fully informed by senior care staff the whole time. Two of whom go over and above the call of duty to ensure the resident feels well cared for.

Mum suffers from vascular dementia, so can sometimes be a handful. The team are excellent dealing with her and making her feel safe and good about herself. This care home is a lovely, homely place with lots of lovely caring staff. They cannot do enough for my stepdad who has only been there for a couple of weeks. The lady on reception is amazing with lots of support and kind words. Also the manager has given lots of support and help during this time....

It is always clean and tidy and both staff and residents seem happy. Communication with family members is exceptional and the home put on an incredible variety of daily activities for residents. Having an on site hairdresser is also a very welcome service the care home provides.

The staff encouraged him (with patience) to walk and join in the activities, which he came to enjoy. The cleanliness and the food were extremely good, also the laundry dept kept his clothes clean. He always looked nice when I visited. He was treated with kindness and nothing was too much trouble from the staff.
