Mum arrived at Berry Hill in May. Slowly improving under their care. She takes part in the activities including shopping & pub lunches. I have met everyone that works here & they do a wonderful that's everyone doing care, cleaning, office staff & Molly the dog. Sadly with dementia you never know how life will pan out so one day at a time; & the team keep me inform all the way keeping eye on weight, fluids, food. Ring me if required. My only slight nigg is Mum only likes small portion of food & not over piled high. Even got a birthday cake which was a lovely touch.

Dad's been here for 4 months. He has lovely private accommodation, and there's plenty of things to do here, if you want to join in.
The staff here can't do enough to help you and they're all very friendly. Took my mum in today and we all 3 sat in a smashing room and had a lovely roast dinner together with home made rice pudding. It was a delight seeing dad enjoy his food.
It's such a weight lifted to know what kind, helpful people are looking after our dad.

Absolutely brilliant.

We had a little party for dad's 88th birthday at Berry Hill Park Care Home. The staff were amazing, helping us to plan and cater for a small family group, and supporting us by making a delicious birthday cake and decorating the room. Nothing was too much trouble, and we had a lovely time celebrating with dad. We very much appreciated the care and attention to detail provided by the staff.

Almost a year ago we were struggling to find a nursing home for my Husband who is under 65 and has complex dementia care needs. The management at Berry Hill did everything they could to support him and the family with a smooth transfer from his other dementia care home. Since then he has been looked after incredibly well despite the challenging demands and needs required for his care. All of the staff at the home are very friendly and helpful - some of which have been there a long time and love working at the home. It is very much a family orientated environment with plenty of activities which are differentiated for those in their care. The food is wonderful! There is a good variety each day and the quality of the menus and food is second to none. My Husband is treated with the respect he deserves for someone younger in a care home and his dignity is protected at all times. The management are easily accessible and always happy to chat and review any care needs.

Mother Spent her last 10 months in Berry Hill Park Care Home. Throughout her stay she was treated with respect by every member of staff, the care she received was excellent. The meal times were something she always looked forward to. The staff encouraged her to join in with the numerous organised activities enabling her to revisit her gardening dancing and cake making skills. The in house Hairdresser and the visits from the chiropodist also made life easier. Thanks to all the staff at Berry Hill Park Care Home mother regained her dignity. The staff not only had time for my mother they also had time for all the family.

Thank you for everything you did

I've been in Berry Hill Park Care Home for 3 months now and I have been welcomed and cared for by all the lovely hardworking staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Everyone is fantastic from management to laundry and domestic staff. The bedroom has views overlooking the gardens and I have my own toilet and sink with bathrooms close by. The food is very good and I get to enjoy a beer, which is a plus. There are many activities and I am in gardening club. I would highly recommend Berry Hill.

Berry Hill Park Care Home is amazing. It is superbly run. All the staff are caring, hardworking and nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent and the variety brilliant. The home is spotlessly clean with the cleaners constantly up and down the corridors, always chatting and assisting residents. The management is brilliant and are constantly keeping us in the loop of what's happening. Overall, a brilliant place to be. Thank you.

I visit my wife weekly. She has acute dementia so I have no cognisense with her.

Overall, I feel the staff try to look after her which I appreciate. I also understand the difficulty in running a 24-hour business and consider that the home is run competently.

From the first time I stepped into Berry Hill Park Care home, I knew it was the right place for Dad. The staff are just so caring and I have to use the word amazing. They have his best interests at heart. He likes the food and has his own room. I cannot thank them all enough, they are all worth their weight in gold.

My Mum was admitted to Berry Hill and sadly recently passed away in the home. Throughout Mum's care, each and every member of the team strived to deliver care in a compassionate, efficient manner.

For anyone looking for a caring environment for their elderly relative, I would certainly have no hesitation recommending Berry Hill as an outstanding home. The staff also took the time to speak to us as a family especially after Mum had passed away.

My husband came here from being very poorly in hospital. The staff were very welcoming, caring and friendly.
In particular, I would like to mention the food. At first, he was having a pureed diet, each item was individually pureed and had lost no taste in the process. Now on a soft and bitesize diet and again it is very tasty, varied and presented well. Have to say compliments to the cooks who do a sterling job and really care.
I do think there should be more staff, the lack of is particularly noticeable at the weekends. My husband had been in two other care homes on respite and I have to say they were the same so not just Berry Hill. The staff never seem to stop it is just that there is not enough of them. If they are doing personal care they can't just respond to other requests.

On balance, my family and I are very happy with the care and support from all the staff. They certainly earn every penny doing a job that at times is very difficult. It is much appreciated.

I support the staff working here as the company provides a minimum of people to do a difficult job. The company needs to address staffing levels and be a little less profit-making rather than care-delivering.

I do find it inexcusable that medication patches are left on a patient for a number of days rather than a daily swap. This causes the patient to have a red and sore rash that needs treating. There is no apology for poor care of this type, I consider it negligence.

On my mum’s first day experience in a care home, the staff, without exception, couldn’t have made Mum and her family more welcome. Early days for sure but Mum loves her room, has already met some lovely residents and the staff have been so kind to ensure she has a lovely first day. Thank you.

I have visited on numerous times and all the staff are very caring and friendly but came to the summer fete and didn’t find it very well organised and the weather obviously didn’t help, the singer was nowhere as good as the gentleman they had entertaining for the pride party, you couldn’t hear her, the pride party was so much better. Also, I didn’t think there was enough seating outside or many flowers to look at after struggling to get my mum and auntie outside to have some fresh air.

Excellent home, absolutely spotlessly clean. Fantastic staff, very caring and compassionate, could not ask for better care for my grandad. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and the staff really take the time to get to know the residents and cater for all their needs.

The manager is always on hand and you really get a sense that not only she but all her staff truly enjoy their jobs and caring for people. Cannot recommend enough.

I would like to say how wonderful this home and all its staff are. My father sadly passed away here in January and the staff could not have been more helpful and supportive both to my father and my family. Nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond to make sure my father and our family were looked after in those final days. Thank you for everything you did and how you continue to look after my mum. I have no doubt my mum is in the best care home.
