My friend has been very happy and content since moving to Darnley Court. She is treated with respect and dignity at all times and staff listen to her needs and assist her constantly when required. Staff keep her family informed of any concerns.

We were embraced from the moment we arrived. We feel part of a loving, caring and hard-working family. Every member of staff are like family and offer reassurance and respect. Hate the security system. Realise the importance of locked doors but wished it could be better managed.

Great staff. Always so welcoming and helpful. There is a very good range of activities for the residents also. Place is clean and tidy and rooms are nice. Nothing is too much bother for the staff who are always around to help.

My Mum arrived at her new home in February after a month long stay in a hospital, she was not at her best. Fast forward to June, the difference is amazing. My mum is doing so well. I would not have thought it was possible. The care given by the staff is great. Thank you and the staff for your hard work

Friend seemed very satisfied with the care they are receiving . She has no complaints about staff or meals. If she wants something between meals, the staff are more than happy to help her. Similarly, if she needs assistance with anything, she only has to ask.

I was concerned about my sister transferring to a new nursing home, as I was worried that the transition would be very difficult for her. However, the staff have been amazing in helping her to settle in. They are always friendly and update you on her progress when we visit. The nursing home itself is
spotlessly clean. My sister is always treated with respect. I am more than happy with the service.

Beaton House has been renovated and is bright and freshly decorated. The staff are friendly and helpful. We all wish the best for our family members and hope they are looked after with kindness and sensitivity. In discussions with staff members and what I experienced during my visits, I am confident
that many of the staff care for the residents as they would wish their own family members to be cared for. I hope the staff can continue to do the best they can do to look after our loved ones.

My father has been with you for five years and over the years there have been ups and downs in the home. I just feel now his condition has gotten a lot worse.
He has been in his bed now for a great few weeks as he cannot sit in a normal chair now. I feel he is sleeping most of the time and not talking
much at all.
When he is not really eating and drinking need to tempt him just a little bit.
Also, he feels the cold, and is always cold, bought him a thicker quilt put his name on it put it on his bed but when we go to visit it is usually off so we put it back on.

My mum has been a resident at Darnley Care Home since 2021. I cannot fault the staff who have looked after her. I am always kept updated via phone calls which is very helpful as I do not live locally and am unable to visit as regularly as I would like to. The care home is, at present undergoing a major
refurbishment. Although a bit of an upheaval at present, it will make this care home even better!
