Wyndford Locks Care Home, located in the peaceful residential area of Maryhill in Glasgow, supports older people to lead their best lives with nursing and nursing dementia care.

My gran came into Wyndford Locks Care Home after a stay in hospital. I must say that the care my gran receives is top notch and has come on heaps since staying at Wyndford Locks. The staff, when we have been present, are great with the residents and very patient and caring.

My mother-in-law (age 80) has been a resident at Mary Hill House for two years after a rapid decline with dementia. She settled in very quickly with the support of an incredible team at Wyndford Locks. All staff are very caring and look for opportunities to engage her in a range of activities that
take place in the care home. Communication between staff and ourselves has been excellent, and we are happy in the knowledge that she is being well taken care of.

I find, as my dad does, the staff are very friendly and caring. Always smiling even when at the end of a long shift. My dad is very well looked after by staff. I have no complaints about his care and would recommend Wyndford Locks to anyone looking for a caring environment.

My 93 year mum who is living with dementia has been cared for in Wyndford Locks for 7 1/2 years. The staff are always attentive to mum and always take note of any concerns we have, and I would say she is happy and content. The gardens and open space are kept lovely and its nice for residents who like
to sit out.

My brother is looked after well. The staff are all very kind and patient. He enjoys the food. Some of the furniture in the room could be better. The activities are not always the kind of thing that interests him but he is not a person that join in activities.

My mom arrived at her new home in February after a month long stay in a hospital, she was not at her best. Fast forward to May, the difference is amazing. My mum is doing so well. I would not have thought it was possible. The care given by the staff is great. Thank you and the staff for your hard work

Can not thank the team a Maryhill House enough for taking such good care of my mother during a short respite stay. This was our first experience accessing respite, and it was not easy to leave my mum, but Wyndford Locks made it a lovely experience from start to finish. I am so pleased with the care,
respect, dignity and kindness my mum received during her stay. We will be accessing the service again, and we both look forward to seeing everyone in Maryhill House again soon. Particular thanks to a particular member of staff who is simply an angel.

Our beloved mother recently passed away after suffering from dementia during the last phase of her life. Mother was cared for at Robert Graham House at Wyndford Locks care Home Maryhill, Glasgow. Our family will be forever grateful for the great kindness and professionalism with which my mother was
treated there. It was a huge comfort to us knowing that our mother was being cared for with dignity and compassion at all times. We recommend Wyndford Locks, and the wonderful staff of Robert Graham House in particular, to anyone who has an elderly loved one in a similar situation.

This was my mum's second time in respite. We were so delighted when we were told that Mum could come back to Wyndford Locks. All the staff and carers treat the residents as if they are family. This was the first time I had respite and my husband was in a care home and away from me. The staff could not have been kinder or more compassionate. He was well cared for and did settle. The family could visit visit out of mealtimes. We were all made to feel welcome. I was very happy and he was ok.
He was well fed and even put on weight. I would recommend this care home. Five stars for all the staff. Well done.

My husband became a resident at Wyndford Locks in early January 2025. He was 87, had had a couple of falls at home and needed more professional care than I was able to give. It was very sad to see him leave our marital home. But the care, love and compassion shown to him at Wyndford Locks made the seperation
more bearable. He was treated with dignity and shown such affection, and just as importantly, the degree and expertise of nursing staff was exceptional.

I feel the staff do a good job of looking after my mum's needs and I appreciate their patience when doing so. The maintenance staff are all helpful and friendly, the groundskeeper does a fantastic job and is super friendly too. The office staff are all very approachable and the managers have an open
door policy if you have any queries. The only negative I have is the home could do with a refurb as the bedroom furniture and fittings are a bit tired and worn.
