Wyndford Locks Care Home

This was mum's third time at Wyndford locks for respite. As always the care & facilities are second to none. The staff are fabulous and we cannot thank them enough for their care of mum. Would highly recommend Wyndford for both respite & long time care.

I always find the staff very informative regarding my brother's well-being, and also the affection shown to my brother, and from my brother to the staff.

This was Stuart's first time in respite and I was extremely worried about it. From arriving and meeting the team I knew Stuart was going to be well cared for. Stuart spent 2 weeks and enjoyed the experience though was glad to go home. The staff were fantastic and really looked after Stuart well during his stay.

My dad stayed for 2 weeks of respite care. The staff were fantastic and took very good care of my dad during his stay. The care home was always clean and tidy, and my dad really enjoyed the activities and the food.

I will always be grateful for the love and care my mum received here. Every single member of staff treated her with such kindness, dignity and compassion, and nothing was ever too much trouble. They also supported us as a family through an incredibly difficult time with genuine warmth and understanding. The care was outstanding from beginning to end, and every member of the team truly has a heart of gold. Thank you for everything you did for Mum and for us. We will never forget your kindness.

Father in law seems settled and happy and the team are always looking out for him. Other family seem satisfied and can raise any questions easily

Staff are always happy to help with any queries regarding care, show the utmost care for each resident and have a happy environment. Can't thank the staff enough for all they do.

I cannot fault the home for how they treat my husband. My only complaint is that I feel they don't check his pad enough to see if he has done the toilet, other than that they treat him well and look after him. I know that then I leave, that the is in good hands and being looked after.

The staff in the home have been great.They treat us like family and if they see we are struggling they take time out to talk to us and reassure us. They care about their residents and take the time to get to know them and what they like.They also phone me to keep me in the loop if anything has happened that day. All in all I cannot fault the home or any of the staff. They take great care of my dad and you can see that.

Our friend is lucky to be in such a well run home with cheerful friendly staff who seems to enjoy their work. We feel confident that she is being looked after to a high standard.

The atmosphere at Wyndford is always calm and happy. Staff are friendly and helpful, and our friend looks great with her hair nicely cut and styled. At times staff and residents seem in a party mood with music and dancing, a joy to see. The views from the windows are lovely. Excellent management and staff moral.

Moving my husband to a care home was one of the hardest decisions I made. However, six months later I have to admit that decision put my husband in a safe, caring and happy environment. His personality prior to dementia shines again because he is comfortable in his new home. I owe this to the wonderful and dedicated staff of Wyndford Locks because of the top notch care my husband is receiving. I can sleep at night knowing he is safe and looked after.

The staff at Wyndford Locks are caring and supportive to my mother. She is shown respect and is treated with dignity.There are always plenty of staff around which is very positive. I believe my mother's wellbeing is prioritised at Wyndford so this gives my family comfort.

I am delighted with the care and attention my mum receives. The staff are so caring and attentive. I get regular updates from the staff. This helps me as I don't get to visit as much as I would like due to my caring for my father. At visiting the staff make us feel so welcome. My mum is always settled and happy. The staff are always on the go, making sure everyone is made to feel welcome.

I have nothing but praise for the management and staff at Wyndford Locks. From the first day my husband entered the home he has been well looked after and cared for. The family were made to feel welcome and kept up to date with how he was settling. This is a well run care home with excellent and caring staff.

We have had a very positive experience at Wynford. The staff are very attentive and positive with my mother-in-law, who has settled in quickly into the community.

My mother who has dementia has been a resident at Wyndford for almost three years and we've been extremely happy with the care given. She has settled very quickly and has been comfortable since. The staff are excellent and communication with the family has always been good. Overall a very positive experience.

My gran has been at this care home for some time now and I honestly couldn't be more grateful for the care she receives. The staff are kind patient and genuinely caring - they treat residents with real dignity and respect not just as part of a routine.
