Wyndford Locks Care Home, located in the peaceful residential area of Maryhill in Glasgow, supports older people to lead their best lives with nursing and nursing dementia care.

Happy with the care my Dad is getting. I do feel that he is deteriorating through and visits are getting tougher. My Mum at times gets frustrated at having to chase up clothes/shoes/glasses that go missing.

My Uncle was in Wyndford Locks Shuna Unit for respite. The standard of service he received was truly outstanding. High levels of care. Professional, friendly and well trained staff. I was very worried about my husband going into respite care and wondered how he would cope. He seemed to accept it quite well although he was a little confused. The staff were wonderful - kind, understanding and supportive. They joked and kidded with him which he enjoyed and gave him leeway to do his
own thing. I was very relieved and wouldn't be so worried again.

I cannot praise the staff who care for my mum in Shuna House, highly enough. My family and I have peace of mind that her needs are fully met with compassion and kindness. The staff always keep me informed of any changes/GP visit outcomes etc in a timely manner. I really think these dedicated and professional

Cannot recommend this care home highly enough. The staff are what makes it. They looked after our dad for 3 years. Caring, compassionate and kind. It felt like he was at home with family.

My mother-in-law has been at the home for six years and is now receiving palliative care from the staff and I feel I need to tell you about the kind professional staff at this home.The staff treat my mother-in-law like a family member they are so gentle, kind and caring towards her. Nothing seems to
be a bother to them I can honestly say I feel so grateful for the way they treat my mother-in-law. I know she is being well taken care of and treated with the utmost respect, it makes such a difference to our lives to know that even in the last stage of her life she is treated with such respect and kindness. I can't thank the staff enough for the fantastic job they do but for them, the last six years could have been very different so a huge THANK YOU from myself and family.

We were quite delighted with the care given to our mother during her time at this care home. The room was efficient and comfortable and the common areas bright and cheerful. Staff were particularly excellent and our mother was supported extremely well. We have no hesitation in recommending this facility.

My brother, who needed care for his physical health, moved into Wyndford Locks in November 2016, after spending over 5 months in hospital. Unfortunately, his mental health bi-polar deteriorated during his short stay. It was totally unexpected as it had been over 12 years since he was last in hospital
regarding his mental health. All the staff worked very hard with him and he was given considerable support. My brother was taken to the infirmary in December where he is at present. I would especially like to thanks to the unit manager, senior care assistant and junior sister at Wyndford Locks for all their support.

My gran has dementia but always seems happy. There is always staff about who are happy to chat. They never complain about when you visit. My gran's room is always tidy and pretty clean.

My father has settled well into Kelvindale House which is exceptionally run by the manager and her staff. Dad has settled well and they are all aware of his likes/dislikes and problems including his sight (very blind). He looks so much better than he did 2 years ago when living on his own.
