The home provides a good service. The staff are hardworking and helpful. Everyone does their best to offer the best care they can even in difficult circumstances. My mother gets the best care and I am happy with the care. She had celebrated her 90th birthday and the staff did their best in organising

The manager of the care home has done so much to help with my husband moving in. She was so helpful with all the paperwork too. She was lovely and helped to answer all my questions. I could not have done it without her.

My mother-in-law has been here for just over a year she has settled in and is flourishing due to the care and attention from all the staff. She truly has a new lease of life and has put on weight enjoys her tine and has become more sociable. The staff are very engaging and always acknowledged residents
even if only in the passing. A very caring environment.

The staff at Wyndford Locks are just amazing!
From the gardener, maintenance guys, chefs, laundry, activity coordinators to the wonderful ladies and gents that look after my mum on a day-to-day basis.
Their kindness, sense of humour and humility is just outstanding.
They have become extended family
to my family and I know my older sister would absolutely vouch for this also!
We can’t thank them enough for all each and every one of them do.

The management, carers and support staff treat our mother with so much care, humility, compassion and kindness and we really feel that Wyndford Locks Care Home
is her home and by extension, ours. We feel really involved with our mother's care plan and the manager is so collaborative, leading by example.

My mum has been a resident at Wyndford Locks for 6 months now, after a rapid decline with dementia and various short-term stays in hospital. We were obviously concerned with her going into permanent care, but I have to say that the process from the care home's point of view was excellent, from the initial
visit and questions that we had to the day my mum moved in, was very good. She settled in quickly, even after a week or so we could see a response and difference in her general mood. 6 months later, my mum is settled and comfortable in her new environment.
The facilities aren't perfect, but I feel the crucial factor in these situations is the staff, and in this case, we couldn't have wished for better. All staff, from seniors to assistants, have been excellent. Caring and engaging, and seem to have a genuine desire to help give all residents the best care possible. I'm happy that my mum is being well looked after.

Mum was a resident for two weeks of respite care due to some issues with her own house. The staff treated her very well, and we were happy to see how she responded, which included putting on some much-needed weight! The care received from the staff was first-class!

My Aunt was taken into care in March 2020 during the Covid Pandemic, leaving home and the confusion around the pandemic made her already confusing life very difficult. It took some weeks for her to accept this dramatic change in her life at age 94. Her health (mentally) was slowly deteriorating) also
being very deaf didn't help with communication. She passed away in December 2022 some two and a half years since entering the home. On my (few) visits I always found staff accommodating and helpful despite the pressures on them to fulfil the demands of their very difficult job.
I received prompt phone calls to notify me of any issues and changes in her well-being, which was much appreciated as I live at some distance from the home. Overall I have to thank all staff who were responsible for my Aunt's care during her time at Wyndford Lochs, they provide a comforting approach to make residents feel part of a caring community.

My mum has just come home from two weeks of respite care in the Mary Hill Unit, and she had a wonderful experience. Due to the current restrictions, I was not able to visit, but the staff went above and beyond to keep me informed and were in constant contact with me. She has dementia, and my mind was
at rest knowing that she was safe and happy, whilst I had a break from 24 hour a day caring. She can't stop talking about how much she enjoyed it and how lovely and kind everyone was.

My mother received an excellent level of care throughout the year, but especially in the last month of her life. The staff went beyond the call of duty, and I couldn't have asked for more. They were thoughtful, attentive and hugely added to my mother's quality of life. Particular mention to the two

My Grandmother has been a resident at Wyndford Locks, Shuna House since 2017. She has come on great in the last few years and says she is quite happy here.
The staff are good, and she appears to get on really well with them all. Since the new group took over, I have seen new faces, and all are very
respectful and welcoming.
The decor has been updated in the lounge area, however, the rooms are old and tired and could do with some work, and a fresh lick of paint.
The only frustration is the laundry, even with name tags, things don't come back. However, this is of no reflection of the care our Grandmother receives.

My dad has been in Wyndford Locks for over a year now he was first in Garscube House now in Robert Graham. I feel he is 100% more settled and back to his old self in Robert Graham, even though it has only been a month I've noticed the difference. The staff are very helpful and kind especially the ones
who take the time time to get my dad and get out what he's trying to say. The patience of a saint.

My dad spent a week respite in the Robert Graham unit in Wynford Locks, my dad settled straight away and had no issues with being there, this was all down to all the staff. Early, late and night shifts they were all absolutely great and friendly with my dad, he had a great week. After a day he was like
one of the family, from the moment the care assistant opened the door I got good vibes about the unit. Whenever I visited the unit was always busy and filled with laughter and music everyone was dancing, good to see and just a lovely warm feeling whenever I went in. On returning home with my dad he requested that I take him back the next day, think that speaks in volumes how much he enjoyed it. I would have no hesitation when my dad needs long term care for it to be there. Well done all the staff in the Robert Graham unit, you are all doing a great job. Thankyou.

I cannot recommend this care home highly enough.
The staff are absolutely amazing and really go the extra mile to care for the residents.
It's so difficult when your loved one can no longer live independently, but this really is a home from home.
It's so reassuring knowing my Dad is settled and well
