Brompton House Care Home

Dad went to Brompton for palliative care. He had delirium and Alzheimer's and had spent 6 awful weeks in hospital. The staff at Brompton helped to make this a more manageable experience for Dad and the family, helping to facilitate visits and allowing my Mum to eat meals with Dad. Laundry, cleaning and catering services were excellent. The Manager was always ready to help with queries. Nursing and other care staff were kind and attentive.

Mum has been in Brompton House care home for very near twelve months the carers are always polite from Abby Amanda Ash Brad and Tony she isn't the easiest to care for and they and colleagues all do their best.

Ongoing entertainment is available at all levels of physical ability, not always an easy task, but carried out with understanding for residents needs.

Unfortunately lack of visitor seats in main & resident rooms, Especially separate seats in resident rooms often go missing.

Dad is happy. He enjoys activities and the choice he is given

Overall we are confident Dad is cared for on a day to day level, the care staff are generally friendly and caring too. No issues, Thankyou for all your care.

Food is excellent as is all the activities.

Activities are good and it really helps dad to join in.

She is always clean, well dressed and her room is always very tidy and clean too.

My cousin enjoyed his time at Brompton Home. He was well looked after.

Brompton House Care Home is not only run with tidy efficiency but also with care and compassion. There is a lovely atmosphere, made all the better by bright, airy rooms, corridors and day areas. I have peace of mind and entire confidence for my mother's residence here.

Mum has dementia and gets confused but enjoys the company of the care staff. If there are any problems, they let you know as soon as possible. There is nearly always something going on and much laughter from the lounge when the balloon is being played, with all getting very exciting. Food always looks and smells nice. Tea and coffee rounds regularly too.

Brompton House provides a real family feel for its residents. My aunt has been here over a year and is very settled and appreciative of the care she receives from the excellent staff. They have made her so at home.

Very comfortable, well-run home. Staff are dedicated and very caring and well-trained. Food is excellent and well-presented. Overall we are very happy with the care my mother-in-law receives. Building is to a high standard and well maintained.

Staff are lovely, my husband is happy at Brompton House Care Home. My husband is deaf and staff have managed and tried their level best to communicate with him using British sign language, we find he is receiving excellent care here at Brompton House Care Home.

I find the home is very comfortable with lovely, spacious rooms, very clean. Also, very friendly staff. They are willing to learn sign language (British Sign Language) for two of their residents. I would recommend it to anyone.

My husband has been in Brompton House Care Home for just a few weeks but I have been so heartened by the welcome, care and kindness we have both had from all staff. I am particularly impressed by the way they encourage residents to have choices and be spoken to quietly and with encouragement. The atmosphere is positive, welcoming and fun, everyone smiles, this is so important for family and friends as well as residents. The record-keeping allows me to know what and when they work with my husband and he is relaxed and content. I am so grateful to them all.

I will definitely recommend Brompton House to anybody that also asks about my stay. I was only here for two weeks after my op. All the staff could not do enough for me, which has helped with my recovery, so a big thank you to you all.
