This friendly care home has recently benefitted from a large scale refurbishment, designed to enhance residents' quality of life. This includes tastefully decorated communal areas and bedrooms.

Brompton House care home boasts a selection of specially designed dining areas that provide the perfect space to eat and socialise. The catering team prides itself on ensuring that each meal is an enjoyable and meaningful experience for every resident.

Visitors are also welcome to the home at any time, the catering team are happy to include them in mealtimes and, on those sunny summer days, the pretty landscaped garden and patio is the ideal spot for some catching up with family and friends.

With a dedicated and compassionate team at the helm, all aspects of provision at Brompton House are completely person-centred, ensuring residents feel valued and respected as an individual. To help them engage with life at the home, the care team spend time learning about each resident and the things they enjoy so that this can be factored not only into their care but also their lifestyle at the home, with a variety of activities and events on offer.

I have lived at Brompton House for about three years. I have found staff and friends. Food is quite suitable and to my taste - very rarely need to complain. The staff are ideal, helpful kind and as far as I am concerned, will help in any way necessary.

My mother was resident for almost 2 years prior to her death in December 2017. The care home staff and nurses gave mum exceptional care, with a degree of kindness, compassion and affection way beyond their job description. These acts of kindness are very much appreciated. The care home staff continue
to support us, the family, after mum's sad passing. The staff are to be highly commended.

My mother is settled and happy. She is treated with care, kindness and the nursing is good. The family are always welcomed and encouraged to be involved. Recent improvements in maintenance are welcome but sometimes meals are not up to standard. Activities are enjoyable and help residents to socialise
and keep active. We are glad that mum is living at Brompton House.

My mother has been at Brompton House for nearly 2 years now. She is extremely happy and loves all the attention from staff. She also enjoys the activities and tells me how busy she is. The atmosphere is more like a hotel with kind and respectful staff where nothing is too much trouble for them. The
residents have good meals in a gracious dining room and can also order snacks anytime they feel hungry. I feel very comfortable that my mother is being looked after well and is enjoying a good quality of life.

The major positive comment is the excellent communication between senior management and staff at all levels and the family. This has steadily improved over the past 18 months to an all-time excellent. Mother and all the family are treated with great respect and courtesy at all times: even when I had
to stay overnight because my mother was seriously ill, the night staff and catering were brilliant.


On mum's 100th birthday, the staff (including catering) were excellent. A designated member of staff was assigned to plan and coordinate a very successful party with me.


I cannot comment on "activities " because mum is not now involved, so have given "satisfactory "

My mother first started to use Brompton House Care Home for respite care when we went on holiday. This gave us peace of mind that mother would be looked after and she would be safe, as the home was rather like a hotel.
When mother took a turn for the worse she decided to stay full time after, she suffered
a stroke. The care mother received at Brompton House was extremely good by kid caring people.

I have found here some excellent service. The staff are efficient, kind and easily accessible. The food is well cooked with variety and helpful chefs and hostess. I find pressing the yellow button makes 24 hour service very easy. The 24 hour service of this kind is excellent. I feel that the worse thing
that hit me was the feeling of being imprisoned after a long and professional traveling career.
