My mother was discharges from hospital so St Peters Care Home in June this year for recuperative care. Redcar was her home town and she was pleased to be leaving hospital to be getting nearer home. But she had reservations about going into a care home. Those fears were put aside immediately because as a family we were all made to feel so welcome and cared for. Sadly my mother passed away but the staff were so kind and compassionate, the care and help they gave was truly amazing. A beautiful care home with professional, caring and compassionate staff.

Our Mam was transferred from Hospital care to St Peter's Court care home with a short term care plan for an initial 2 week stay for rest and recuperation and regaining her strength before going on to a rehabilitation unit and home.
Whilst at the care home she was treated with such dignity and respect and the care she received from every member of staff was exemplary. The team looked after our family when we visited offering us refreshments support and keeping us informed at all stages of her care. We were so impressed the care home operated like a big family home with activities going on regularly and happy faces all around decided that should Mam need longer than 2 weeks or future care needs we would not hesitate to call upon them.

The rooms and social spaces were clean bright and comfortable with wide screen tv lovely seating and a candy cart for residents to access a snack or a drink. The dining room set up like a cafe/restaurant with white tablecloths and cutlery -fabulous

My mother was a resident at St Peter's Court for 3 years before her passing. The home environment, staff and residents gave her a new lease of life and she enjoyed every minute towards the end of her life. My husband and I received amazing support and kindness from the staff whilst sitting with my mother in her final days.

All good and very helpful. Manager and seniors and staff good, really helpful to supportive from initial entry to a regretful release.
Certainly, the staff did their best to get my mum active and interactive.

No complaints. I hope if my mum is released from hospital, she can return.

My father was at St Peter's for only a short while before sadly passing away. He was cared for by the wonderful staff to a standard that cannot be faulted.
Whilst in hospital he said "I can't wait to go back- the staff are lovely".

They cared for him so well in his last few days and I am so grateful they were terrific.

From the moment my mum moved into St Peter's Court the care and support she received were excellent. Everyone was professional, kind, and attentive, helping her to feel comfortable and at home.
However, it was in the final weeks of her life that their compassion and dedication shone even brighter. The care they provided was nothing short of amazing. Sheila deserves a special mention, not only for the care she showed my Mum but also for treating me like a friend; offering comfort and reassurance at such a difficult time. And the manager went above and beyond visiting my mum in the hospital on multiple occasions.

Mum always said she wanted to spend her final days at St Peter's because she considered it her home, and the manager and his team made that possible. For that, I will be forever grateful. I can't thank them enough for the love and care they showed, not just to my mum, but to our whole family. THANK YOU.

All the staff do such a tough job under very difficult and taxing circumstances, and you should be proud of the way you deal with people at the end of their lives. With this in mind, my mother was able to pass away peacefully in her room, after a number of days tender and gentle care by any number of dedicated staff members. My sister and I are so grateful for the care and attention you gave her in St. Peter's and we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

Dear all, I am writing this review to let all members of staff in St Peter’s know how much I appreciate each and every one of them. I had a short stay in the home, which proved to be longer than anticipated. Every one of the staff from seniors to carers were amazing. Being of sound mind, I watched the love and care they gave to long-term residents. They showed how much they cared for each individual. I also came to become really fond of some of the residents. I thank you so much for the help to build me back up. All of you are Angels. God bless you all.

I am writing to express my sincere and heartfelt thanks to everybody who cared for my nanna up until her passing away on Saturday. What an amazing team of people. The care and support she received during her time at the home was second to none. During her last few months with us, she was transferred to the dementia ward. Her transfer up to the first floor gave her a new lease of life. She was engaged in so many activities and really thrived. I actually cannot believe that she started knitting again and was revelling in being part of a community again. Special thanks to one staff member in particular who provided incredible support and guidance to me during a very difficult time, right up to the point where she lost consciousness. Having the ability to speak to Nanna in her final moments of consciousness and tell her how much I loved her was so very special. I am so very grateful for that. You are all so warm and caring people and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
