This is the first time our family have considered using respite care and the staff have all made this a very positive experience. My auntie settled very well and everyone was always friendly and helpful when we rang to check how she was. We would recommend this care provider to others and will certainly consider using them again. Many thanks from all of our family.

The care home is like a posh hotel, the rooms have ensuite shower and toilet facilities, no expense spared on the furnishing throughout. This posh hotel became my mums home for the next six years.
My Mum developed close friendships with some of the residents, mainly people who also have Parkinson's like her.
Mum's past career, being within the nursing profession, meant that even stronger friendships were formed with the care staff, as my Mum would relate to the duty of care and would like to chat about her experiences. The care staff always had time to listen and chat which was a great comfort to not only my Mum but to me as well.

Grateful that the staff would keep me informed of my Mum's progress, St Peter's was a place where my Mum felt safe. Being someone who enjoyed her own company she was still able to have her privacy as well as her independence which was very important to her. Thank you for making my mums days more manageable and for enabling her to keep her spirits up.

Lovely clean care home, staff are very helpful and accomodating, always cheerful. The food is lovely and well prepared. Nothing is too much trouble anything my mum needs, they will try to get her. The senior lead and senior nurse on the ground floor are lovely, they are always cheerful and helpful. They put out concerns over mam to the forefront of her needs.

The home and staff are nice. I have for dinner with my friend and the food is nice. She has a phone in her room and can call us. It's nice and I like it that I can visit her.

After a traumatic visit to hospital, my mother returned to the care home ready to rest and recover.
The staff were so attentive meeting her every need. Assuring her she was safe and in good hands.

This is a huge relief to the family knowing she is getting the best care. The staff treat everyone with dignity and respect. We are all extremely grateful for such a professional care team.

Our overall review is satisfied. Our mother is well cared for and most of her needs are met.

Our only issue is visitor seating! We have to collect chairs from the dining area so we can sit while visiting. I have discussed this with the manager.

St peter's Court is perfect for my mum. The care and support she is getting is outstanding. She is happy and very well cared for by all the staff. I was a little concerned over staff leaving, but I know the new staff are just as caring which has put my mind at ease. Although my mum has Alzheimer's she is still quite active and she really enjoys the activities provided. Her hobby is dancing and St Peter's has provided all these activities and always includes my mum. Overall we as a family are happy with everything St Peter's Court has to offer and it's a comfort knowing my mum is happy.

Mum has been a resident in St Peter's Court for three years during which time she has been well cared for and is happy living there. Latterly, mum has been transferred into grace unit which is providing her with an increased level of care in order to meet her needs. Mum suffers from vascular dementia and its reassuring to the family members that mum is safe, well cared for and happy.

Big relief. Dad needed a focus to work towards during his recovery from a broken hip and moving long term to St Peter's Court. From the start, staff have met, listened, laughed and talked with Dad as have residents, as Dad begins to settle in his new home. It is not easy for anybody leaving memories and old homes but thank you to everyone helping in this transition.

The environment is clean, welcoming and well kept. The rooms are a decent size. The meals are to his taste. They are varied and well cooked. Staff are very friendly. I know Dad only has to ask and he can have what he feels like e.g. if he was peckish in the evening, he can ask for scrambled egg! We visit regularly and not to a schedule. This review is based on those random visits.

Mum is a dementia sufferer and needed respite care when Dad was in hospital. The staff have all been amazing and Mum settled in very quickly, having tried a different home a few months ago. We are very happy she is safe here.

I reside contentedly on the ground floor of St Peter's. Walking into the attractive entrance there is a feeling of welcome - of mostly smiling faces and a most helpful and efficient staff always happy to help if you need it. The wide corridor ahead - seats on either side if you need a rest - we pass a cosy library - entrance to our garden - so pleasant in the summer to sit and chat. The dining room on the left - a bit noisy sometimes but once all are seated and the food is served - it's all heads down. I believe that at St Peter's there is a most wonderful feeling of being safe - looked after and care for - love, love, love.

I think that St Peter's has a lovely, friendly atmosphere the moment you walk through the door. It is very tastefully decorated and absolutely immaculate, extremely well kept. The housekeeping and maintenance teams work hard keeping it to a high standard. The dining areas are all really nice and welcoming. All the staff have a very hard working, caring and professional attitude towards the residents. The residents' rooms are of good size and with an en-suite.

I think all the staff are wonderful, loving and caring. I feel really looked after. I enjoy the meals (but the soft boiled eggs could be a bit more soft for dipping).

If I can't be at home, then this is the place for me. Thank you.

St Peter's Court took mum into respite care at a very difficult time for the family, which we will be eternally grateful. Beautiful building and very smiley staff, with nutritious and appetising food served at each meal. Two staff members, in particular, were very supportive of me as well as looking after mums needs. Being new to the care environment, both mum and I appreciate this a great deal.
