I couldn't fault the care and dedication of the staff looking after my Mother, they worked very hard to make sure she was comfortable right until her passing away. The only thing I wasn't happy with was the cleaning of her room, every time I went to visit, I had to clean everything with wet wipes. Maybe
the cleaner didn't have time, I don't know. Anyway, my Mam passed away on August 2nd sat in a chair fast asleep in her room, so thank you to everyone involved with her care.

My nanna has been at St Peter's for nearly a month. My nanna has been treated with the utmost care and respect since day one. Nanna has thoroughly enjoyed her stay at St Peter's and would recommend this home in the future. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. The additional cats (Rosie and Jim)
were gorgeous too.

When I first visited St Peter's Court Care Home I was impressed because it seemed like a well-run residential hotel. Each member of staff smiled as I passed and they looked happy. When my wife moved in, I found that staff were eager to assist in making her comfortable. This has carried on ever since,
extra touches like passageway tables with fresh fruit, packets of biscuits and chocolate bars are freely available to mobile residents. This all helps to make the place like a home. Visitors are welcomed without restrictions on visiting hours, they can join residents for a meal without charge as a guest of the resident. Relatives can see that their loved ones could not be in better hands. The kind care company lives up to it'ss name!

I visit St Peter's Court Care Home at least once a week to see a family member. I am impressed with the level of care she receives from all staff members. The activities are varied on a daily basis. My family member has improved significantly whilst being a resident in terms of cognition, and memory
and she has put on weight, which she needed to. The menus are varied and offered very often in between meals are snacks, cream cakes etc. As a nurse, I can't praise this care home enough.

I am delighted with the care and support given to my step mum. All the staff are welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble. Although this is a care home, the staff go to a lot of effort to ensure that St Peter's feels homely, with residents' photos, lots of cosy sitting areas and a relaxed atmosphere.
There is good communication between staff and family. I think St Peter's is fantastic and am delighted that my mum is here.

Since Dad's arrival, the staff have done a great job helping him to settle in. The room is spacious and bright, looking out into the garden. The residents have plenty to help them mix and lots of activities. All staff are jolly, caring and supportive.

Everyone on the staff is very welcoming, caring and supportive to both my mum and us as a family, eg keeping us informed about medical problems, how they are being addressed and how Mum is progressing. Whenever we visit, the staff approach us to give an update on how things are with Mum and how she
is on that particular day. There have been some very challenging and distressing situations, and all have been addressed promptly and with great professionalism. We are confident that Mum will continue to be treated with dignity and empathy for her situation. The new manager is very quick to implement new improvements. New activities and socialising events are in the pipeline.

We were pleasantly surprised at the overall ambience and decor of the home. It felt very secure, and even after only a few weeks, our nana seemed to be on first-name terms with all the staff, which is excellent. Having the kittens around made it feel homely.

Welcoming atmosphere with warm and supportive staff. My grandmother is comfortable and feels safe, which is important to her. The home has a lovely courtyard with three fun cats running around, providing entertainment. I'm happy my nanna is settling so nicely.

We have been visiting my sister-in-law since November 21, initially in the resident's room, which was quite pleasant. The majority of staff we have found to be both friendly and caring. Since opening up the home after Covid, we have been allowed to visit her room, which we feel could be a little larger,
but it is adequate, and you are able to sit and watch passers-by, which my sister-in-law enjoys.

My father had five caring years in St Peter's. The staff worked wonderfully as a team. My father received outstanding care during his stay. All the staff were kind, supportive and encouraged him to continue to have confidence in his daily life. It has been a difficult time, and the staff ensured his
safety and wellbeing was paramount. He was happy in St Peter's, and he called it his "home". He had a lot of very happy days. Thank you.

Mum was in St Peter’s Court from the day it opened until April 2021, covering a period of 8-years! She had a very happy life in St Peter’s; the very caring staff became her 2nd family! I had a peace of mind from day one and received immense support and communication from the very dedicated staff! The
home is modern with lots of windows, making it very light and airy! I feel extremely lucky to have had this facility on our doorstep! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend St Peter’s to anyone looking for a care facility!

As a dedicated healthcare professional, Jamie has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. He is a knowledgeable leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Jamie closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. He extends this caring approach to his Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked what he enjoys most about his role, Jamie remarked:


“I am lucky to be part of a team of likeminded people who share my passion for providing the best care for our Residents in a comfortable and welcoming environment.”


Jamie’s proudest achievement is working hard to demonstrate his ability to progress from Deputy Home Manager to Home Manager within seven months. In spare time, Jamie likes fine art, being outdoors and spending quality time with friends and family.
