My mum stayed here for three weeks, and what a difference it made to her. She loves it; she didn't think she would. She spoke more and joined in the activities, which normally she never would, even if I was there. Enjoying all the meals, beautifully cooked and a good variety.

All the staff and management are so very friendly and helpful, making you feel at home. She would very happily go back but sadly did in August, but I'm so happy she tried it!

I couldn't fault the care and dedication of the staff looking after my Mother, they worked very hard to make sure she was comfortable right until her passing away. The only thing I wasn't happy with was the cleaning of her room, every time I went to visit, I had to clean everything with wet wipes. Maybe the cleaner didn't have time, I don't know. Anyway, my Mam passed away on August 2nd sat in a chair fast asleep in her room, so thank you to everyone involved with her care.

Firstly, Can I offer you my sincere condolences in the loss of your Mother. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of St Peters Court during this difficult time. I am sorry to hear that the cleaning standards of your mother's room were not of the standard we would have expected, and we...

My nanna has been at St Peter's for nearly a month. My nanna has been treated with the utmost care and respect since day one. Nanna has thoroughly enjoyed her stay at St Peter's and would recommend this home in the future. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. The additional cats (Rosie and Jim) were gorgeous too.

When I first visited St Peter's Court Care Home I was impressed because it seemed like a well-run residential hotel. Each member of staff smiled as I passed and they looked happy. When my wife moved in, I found that staff were eager to assist in making her comfortable. This has carried on ever since, extra touches like passageway tables with fresh fruit, packets of biscuits and chocolate bars are freely available to mobile residents. This all helps to make the place like a home. Visitors are welcomed without restrictions on visiting hours, they can join residents for a meal without charge as a guest of the resident. Relatives can see that their loved ones could not be in better hands. The kind care company lives up to it'ss name!

I visit St Peter's Court Care Home at least once a week to see a family member. I am impressed with the level of care she receives from all staff members. The activities are varied on a daily basis. My family member has improved significantly whilst being a resident in terms of cognition, and memory and she has put on weight, which she needed to. The menus are varied and offered very often in between meals are snacks, cream cakes etc. As a nurse, I can't praise this care home enough.

I am delighted with the care and support given to my step mum. All the staff are welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble. Although this is a care home, the staff go to a lot of effort to ensure that St Peter's feels homely, with residents' photos, lots of cosy sitting areas and a relaxed atmosphere. There is good communication between staff and family. I think St Peter's is fantastic and am delighted that my mum is here.

Everyone on the staff is very welcoming, caring and supportive to both my mum and us as a family, eg keeping us informed about medical problems, how they are being addressed and how Mum is progressing. Whenever we visit, the staff approach us to give an update on how things are with Mum and how she is on that particular day. There have been some very challenging and distressing situations, and all have been addressed promptly and with great professionalism. We are confident that Mum will continue to be treated with dignity and empathy for her situation. The new manager is very quick to implement new improvements. New activities and socialising events are in the pipeline.

We were pleasantly surprised at the overall ambience and decor of the home. It felt very secure, and even after only a few weeks, our nana seemed to be on first-name terms with all the staff, which is excellent. Having the kittens around made it feel homely.
