Park House Care Home

Park House is a wonderful care home. It has excellent facilities, very kind caring staff, delicious food, and a provides excellent care for your loved ones. We could not have had a nicer care home. There are many activities arranged specially for all the residents with whom the staff also get involved and it is such a nice clean place too. We cannot recommend it highly enough as the staff go above & beyond to ensure your loved ones are cared for in a kind, caring, compassionate & professional environment.

The care recieved during a difficult and emotional time loosing our loved one who resided here was second to none! The care, dignity and support recieved not just to our loved one but to us was just outstanding. Nothing was ever too much. All the staff from ground floor (middle floor) should be extremely proud of the work they do, it has not gone un-noticed with our family. Special thanks to Emily, Paula, Paul, Doris, Debbie, Emma and Georgia. This team not only supported through a difficult time but built bonds that Joan held close to her heart! Also a thank you to Tracy (activities) Joan always enjoyed attending the entertainment provided. Everyone at Park house is friendly and welcoming, even the kitchen staff and housekeepers interact with the families making for a warm and welcoming experience. Fantastic Home and a warm and welcoming environment.

My mam has been in Park house for 3 years now, we visited other homes but the moment we entered Park house it just felt right and has been excellent on every level since, the place is always very clean and the food is excellent , the staff will go above and beyond and always pre empt problems so we can rectify them in advance, ie clothes not fitting , mam has felt very settled there.

The staff at Park House Care Home looked after my father during the last month of his life. They were kind, professional and helpful. The whole team from management, carers, cleaners and catering staff showed my father and my family the utmost respect and care. The respect and dignity shown to my father when he passed away was exemplary.

Mum receives excellent care throughout the care home. The nurses are so caring and go above and beyond their duties to make sure my mum is happy and comfortable. The room is cleaned to a very high standard, and her clothes are washed and returned very quickly. There is lots of regular entertainment and interaction.

To Guisborough Park House. We were all in a new phase of vulnerability with our father's condition by Sept 2025. But after speaking to the manager and staff during a care home visit we felt relaxed in the knowledge that Park House was the place for our dad to stay for his respite care. Unfortunately he had to stay quiet a while due to family situation til January 2026. While he was there, Dad was treated with respect, care, love for the man he is. We can't express enough our gratitude to all the staff at Park House for their incredible, professional, positive, kind, caring, knowledgeable. These individuals who had an effect on us as a family have supported us all taking the time to understand our concerns.

Park House is a nice environment and well-maintained.

My mam became a resident of Park House approx 2 months ago, the day she moved in we were all anxious and apprehensive after a previous home treated mam horrendously with unsafe procedures and sub standard care but from day 1 in Park House mam has flourished the staff are unbelievable with their caring attitude and willingness to do what it takes and go the extra mile to ensure all residents have the best care possible, it has been a godsend for mam, and us as a family.

The whole family was so impressed with the care my father received at the home. This was really highlighted through the loving care & dignity at his end of life. We were also cared for with the security of their presence, yet given space. We will always be very thankful.

The team at Park House continue to take great care of my mum. She has been very poorly recently and they have been warm, caring and very quick to ensure her medical care, food and drink are maintained and checked each day and close liaison with the GP surgery. I feel very relieved that she is so well looked after. The Manager and Deputy Manager are brilliant, approachable and quick to address any issues, and obviously aware of my Mum's changing care needs. Over Christmas, the team made sure we could spend time with Mum, enabling a family Christmas dinner with her and lovely decorations and activities in the home, it made the day very special. The home is spotless and the food is really good and tailored to Mum's needs. Thank you!

My stepfather has been at Park House since June 2024, I have found the staff and management easy to talk to, to help sort any problems that are needed (as we haven't been in this situation before) to be solved. Rooms are a lovely size and immaculate. There are choices for meals and drinks, and everything I have seen is five star. There are plenty of activities and the facilities are exceptional. The overall experience of Park House is amazing, nothing is too much trouble. It is a safe and secure property that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

The team at Park House continues to take great care of Mum, they are incredibly professional and quick to pick up any issues however small, and very helpful and patient in enabling me to speak with Mum by phone. The home has had some decoration over the summer which looks lovely, the place is spotless, warm, and very welcoming. Mum loves the food, Sunday lunch and meals. The Manager and Deputy Manager are fantastic, approachable and very quick to pick up any issues. All of the teams are outstanding, carers, housekeepers, and catering.

My husband is very happy and I don't worry about thinking is he alright as I Know if there is a problem it will be sorted.

Outstanding care home, Mum is so settled, and the staff are outstanding from the kitchen to the housekeeping department to the wonderful care staff. Management runs the home brilliantly. Thank you to all 10/10 from me.

My dad has been in Park House for a couple of months. Despite him being very reluctant to go into a care home, he has settled in from day one and now absolutely loves it. So much so he asked me to confirm this was now his forever home as he likes it so much. The food is excellent and he enjoys being able to socialise with the other residents at meal times. He also enjoys the activity sessions as it fills up his day and gives him a social life. The staff are all super friendly and helpful and go above and beyond to make the residents happy and comfortable (even setting up his subscription TV service when the company failed to). Highly recommended!
