I was greeted warmly and very welcomed by the staff especially the Deputy Manger. I really am happy to see that my nan is still alive and kicking after all these years I haven't seen her and now on her 90th birthday it brings tears to my eyes that she is talking to me and well looked after including
skin and hair.

My Friend came to Fieldway 5 years ago from hospital.. From the first day he has received excellent care by caring and loving staff. They took the time to really get to know him. His likes and dislikes. He is happy and joins in activities when he wants to. The food choice is amazing, BBQ's in the summer.
Birthdays and christmas is very big at Fieldway - always fun and laughter. I give all the staff, 5 stars!

My mum was in Fieldway Care Home for 2 years before she passed. She was treated with dignity, love, care, and kindness. Fieldway were also very helpful with our family and paperwork problems they would help us if they could. Everyone was very friendly took the time to chat to us about mum and a general
chat. When mum passed they were a big support to us. I would just like to say thank you to every one that cared for my mum.

I just spent a week respite care at Fieldway Care Home while my wife and son had a break. I was made to feel totally welcome from the offset. I was very well looked after the entire week. I just want to say thank you to the management and staff for the wonderful atmosphere they create in the Care Home.

Overall it has been a reasonably positive experience. Unfortunately of recent an incident has occurred which is currently under investigation. The food also was of sub-standard quality but appears to be improving. Mum is generally happy here and that is what is important.

I found from day one of my wife's stay that all my worries about her going into care vanished. She has been treated absolutely brilliantly. All members of staff are so friendly and treat my wife as though she is one of their own family. I cannot give Fieldway enough praise. Thank you all.

My grandmother has been a resident for over a year now and she has always been treated very well by all the staff.
They are all very nice to her, friendly and caring if we have a request, they do the best they can to accommodate it for us and for Nan.
She has a lovely room, with a garden view.
The
staff are very nice and caring and treat Nan and my family very well and are always great in communication with us when we visit and when necessary.
They do games and activities daily with an activities board to keep residents active to their abilities which is great, they also do family-inclusive activities (i.e. BBQs, tea parties, sing-along sessions and exercises etc.) and put a whole heap of things on throughout the year following what is happening in the world (i.e. Halloween, black history month, Christmas etc)
They have a hairdresser, chiropodist, doctor and dentist that all visit the home.
They also have tv rooms, dining areas, a large garden area where residents and family can go to.
All in all a lovely home for Nan.

During my mother's short stay at Fieldway Care Home, I found the staff and facilities excellent. The reception staff, as well as the nursing and care staff were all friendly and helpful with good, practical advice. Communication over the phone during the week was also good but I found trying to access
information during the weekend to be poor. Overall, I would say Fieldway is a first class care home and would recommend it.

I can't rate this care home highly enough. Went there on a couple of occasions to view this for my mom (as she needs 24/7 care due to dementia) and from the moment I arrived in reception to be shown around right through to her moving in and settling down, everything was seamless including the application
process. All the staff are always caring, friendly, happy and organised and whilst I still find it difficult to accept my mom needs to be locked up for her own protection, it really is such a pleasure to visit as everyone is so pleasant and everywhere is completely spotless with communication super efficient and thorough at all times. My mom's room is large and lovely with her own en suite toilet room with basin, both beautifully maintained and decorated with her personal belongings making it feel like a real home from home. From the welcome into reception, you feel your loved one is cared for in a respectful, kind and professional way. The home is clean and so are the rooms and residents. There is always someone to speak to and you are kept in contact with every matter concerning your loved one. High standards of staff

Whenever we visit the staff are always happy and the rooms are clean. We get regular communication and the home organises regular activities.
Whilst the car park is small we never have issues parking.

On Friday 9th December we took my 83-year-old sister-in-law into the care home. She has memory problems and social services, who are funding her, have agreed she is too vulnerable to continue to live on her own. Fieldway was the only care home that had a room and despite it being 'Hobson's choice',
I was very impressed with the management at our first meeting. This excellent impression was substantiated when we took my sister-in-law to visit a couple of days later. Early days, but it really seems an excellent home!

My mum was admitted to the hospital following a terrible fall with significant injuries. As a result, is now a resident in the care home.
We were really worried as a family.
Our worries were soon dispelled.
The manager and all the staff are absolutely lovely. Massive shout out to staff. Today mum
wasn't feeling too well and they have been superb.
Massive thank you.
The home is spotless and the food very good.
From our family, we couldn't ask for more.

As a Registered Nurse, Alexandra has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for residents.


Having worked at HC-One for many years, Alexandra closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every resident. She extends this caring approach to her colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Alexandra remarked:
“Seeing my residents enjoying their lives and seeing them happy. I like to think I am a caring person, and I enjoy helping people.”


Alexandra has also achieved much outside of work, with her proudest achievement being supporting her dad through surviving cancer.


Outside of work, Alexandra enjoys spending time with her family, especially her godson, and reading.
