Most of the staff are friendly. Meals very nice. They put on good shows for the elderly with nice singers. Rooms are nice and tidy. My mums hygiene is not been good at all since she got here, hair very greasy for 3 to 4 days which meant she wasn't getting showered or bathed. But had a word with staff
nurse and seems to be fine now. Made my mum appointment with foot chiropodist a month ago, and still not got seen to.

Mum has been here since the 22nd of April 25. After the expected settling in period, she is very happy with her experience of living here. She particularly mentions how good the staff are with her, and she definitely enjoys the food.
Most importantly, she has mentioned how safe she feels.

My partner needed to go in for 1 week respite and from the minute he arrived he was treated with so much kindness from all staff. The staff care so much and made him feel at home along with everyone who visited him. Whilst all staff are very professional they are so welcoming & friendly.
Certainly

The stay for my wife was everything I expected and more. My wife has the best time and was looked after by a dedicated team who looked after her needs. They made her stay like she was on holiday, and it done wonders for her respite.

Pleasant entrance, staff all nice, saying good morning etc. Room very comfortable and well appointed. There seems to be enough staff. Meals could be warmer, but plenty of changes, I am happy to support this review. The client is safe so that's good.

My grandmother has been in Chapel Level Care Home for 3 years, she has took to the change really well and made some good friends. The variety of food is what she would eat at home. the care staff are excellent with her and i feel if there were any issues, I can talk to carers or management.

The overall care provided to my husband is excellent. The care home is spotlessly clean, warm , bright and welcoming. The food is first class, with residents dietary needs catered for. The staff are all very caring. Efficient and friendly. It is a comfort to me to see my husband happy and content and

Staff have always promoted my mum's choice by using different strategies that are person centred to meet her needs.
Staff take on board what works for mum and her preferences. When mum has been unsettled when I leave, staff are always available to address my concerns. Nothing is too much for the staff
and the staff who have supported mum have always been approachable. The staff have a holistic approach and have a wrap around approach which includes the carers/family. Our first impressions were around how friendly everyone was from admin to support and the manager.

This is a pleasant care home. Friendly care staff. The job to a high standard, with good care and dignity maintained. The food is nice and rooms are always clean and tidy, never had any problems or concerns with how the home functions. Carers contact me regularly to ask if I am happy with the service,

Just wanted to say how utterly amazing the staff are at Chapel Level Care Home. Me and my wife just got married in the middle of October and unfortunately due to my gran's dementia she was unable to attend the wedding. To allow my gran to be part of our special celebration the care home said that they
would put on a spread so that we could come into the home and celebrate with my gran which in itself was an amazing gesture.
The whole family surprised my gran with a visit to the home the day after our wedding and we all wore our wedding outfits. The look on my grans face when we walked in and surprised her was absolutely amazing and this turned out to be even more emotional than the real wedding the day before.
They put on a fantastic spread of food and a wedding cake for us. They also had singers and music so we could have a dance with gran and also invited some of the other residents to join in, where they all had an amazing time.
So just a huge thank you to the truly amazing staff.

Mum has settled in really well in Chapel Level Care Home. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. It has given us so much peace of mind that she is in a safe and secure environment with 24 hour care. It felt like a huge decision when deciding which care home for mum but we felt so happy with

As a Health Care Professional, Susan has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Having worked in the care sector for many years, Susan closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Susan remarked:


“I enjoy being able to share skills and experiences with fellow Colleagues to allow them to deliver the level of care our Residents need, to make the environment a home from home.”


Susan has also achieved much outside of work, with her proudest achievement being the owner of a special Care Home for elderly ladies.


Outside of work, Susan enjoys going on holiday and spending time with good friends.
