I have worked in many Care homes over the years, Lomond Court has everything a resident needs to feel comfortable, respected and cherished. I would happily end my days in this home or one of the same standard.

Our family are so relieved to have found such a caring place for Mum to stay. She moved there in early July and we have found the staff and care to be exceptional. They are all so welcoming and friendly, and already know Mum very well. The facilities are great, especially the cafe area and gardens which we use regularly when visiting. The manager and her staff are truly amazing, their dementia care is exactly what it should be with kindness, patience and compassion.

MY MOTHER ARRIVED IN DEC 24, SHE WAS MADE TO FEEL VERY WELCOME. SOME OF THE STAFF HAD PREVIOUSLY LOOKED AFTER MY FATHER, WHO DIED SEVEN YEARS AGO. MY MOTHER RECOGNISED THEM AS WELL. THE CONTINUITY OF STAFF HELPED TO GET HER SETTLED IN VERY QUICKLY. EACH TIME WE GO INTO VISIT WE ARE GIVEN A BRIEF UPDATE ON HER PROGRESS AND DIRECTED TO WHERE SHE IS, SITTING ROOM, BEDROOM OR OUTSIDE. IT IS SO COMFORTING KNOWING HOW WELL SHE IS BEING CARED FOR, A MASSIVE WEIGHT OFF OUR MINDS. EVERYONE IS SO HELPFUL, APPROACHABLE AND SMILING. NOTHING IS TOO MUCH TROUBLE FOR ANYONE. THE COMMUNICATION IS EXCELLENT AT ALL TIMES.

Mum has been in Lomond Court for almost a year and a half now. I have always found that the staff are very friendly when visiting and feel they are happy to to take time out of their busy day to chat which makes the experience all the more welcoming. Mum loves the banter that she has with the staff and its nice to see her laughing and joking with them. Mum always says how happy she is and that she is very lucky to be there. I totally agree with her

My Mother has been a resident in Lomond Court for almost a year. During this time we have found there are plenty staff who are very caring friendly and efficient with the residents and their families. The food is lovely, plentiful and nutritious with lots of snacks in between meals. There is plenty to keep the residents entertained with various acts, visitors, trips and sitting in the garden.

There are not enough words to describe how happy our family is with the care provided for Mum. What has been a very worrying and upsetting time has been made so much easier knowing Mum is well cared for and safe. The staff keep us up to date with all aspects of Mum's care, the communication is excellent. There are no negatives, just a positive experience and the care extends to the whole family's welfare. We feel very lucky to have Lomond Court look after Mum.

At first, I had mixed emotions about my grandad going into a care home. However, Lomond Care Home could not have made the transition easier. My grandad could not be more looked after. The staff are so caring and friendly. I have been able to build up a relationship with them. There is always a lovely atmosphere and my grandad is always happy when I visit him.

My mum came to the home in January 2024. This was a very hard decision for my dad, they have been together for 65 years and it took him a long time to come to this point. From the moment Mum arrived they have done everything to support Mum and also Dad through this huge change in their lives as Mum slowly deteriorates in health due to her dementia. They are always welcoming to all the family, answering questions, trying to make everything as we want it for Mum and doing all they can to engage her and those staying at Lomond Court in fun and engaging activities. The carers are lovely, the manager is always approachable and understanding and a year on, we feel so lucky that there was a place for Mum here. Thank you to all the staff for all you do for our family.

From management to carers, cleaners, chefs, and activities coordinators everyone does an amazing job and goes that 1 step above to help or reassure you with any issues. The home is spotless and clean and also has a lovely garden for residents to use on a nice day. The social part with singers, school kids party are all well organised and a fantastic buffet put on. The residents are always happy to see new faces when visiting definitely 10/10 for myself and the care my mother receives.
