My husband sadly passed away on the 18th January 2017 after two and a half years in Lomond Court Care Home. Throughout this time the staff were always caring, kind and thoughtful to myself and family keeping us updated with his health and comfort. Every member of staff from cleaners, carers, medical and entertainment staff always had a kind word and smile whenever they saw us. During his last few days, the care given to him and myself was remarkable. I am so glad that I was confident that he was being so well looked.
My auntie is currently a resident of Lomond Court. The care is overall of the highest standard. I cannot praise all the staff enough.
Every member of staff I've interacted with has been friendly and helpful. My mother has settled in with ease and I have no concerns whatsoever that she is receiving the highest quality care.
The staff at Lomond Court were amazing with my dad. They treated him with care and dignity and made him feel comfortable in his last few months. The staff were very supportive to us all as a family. They made us feel welcome whenever we were in to see dad. We couldn't have asked for our dad to be treated any better than he was.
My sister was in Lomond Court Care Home for only a short time, before unfortunately she was transferred to a psychiatric facility. However we were very impressed by the admission procedure, the help relatives were given with moving my sister in and the overall care and kindness. When it quickly became apparent that my sister needed further care, Lomond Court dealt with her situation kindly and professionally, all the while keeping relatives informed. If it is ever possible, we would be very happy for her to return there.
When we visited the home looking on behalf of my mother, the management and staff provided straight forward information about the home. Having been escorted round the home we witnessed day to day duties being carried out by staff, rooms, kitchens, cleaners, activity rooms and in general a good overall account of themselves. My mother has been a resident under nursing care for the past 6 months. All her needs have been provided, she has settled without any hassle. All information we require is provided and their door is always open to offer support to all my family and my mother.
The manager is extremely switched on, approachable and supports ideas and input from relatives. My father settled well from the beginning in Lomond Court, after being unhappy in three other residential/nursing homes previously. the home has a relaxed and confident feel which I'm sure feeds through to the residents. I would recommend Lomond Care to other families. It has certainly worked well for ours. the new refurbishments are just the icing on the cake.
I really like it, I feel well cared for and safe. The home is nice and quiet and also now that the re-furnishing are taking shape, it is very attractive and comfortable.
I have only praise for the level of care and the kindness she is shown on a daily basis. Her room is welcoming and the staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a lovely atmosphere throughout.
My experience of Lomond Court has been extremely positive. The staff are very friendly and know who I am when I visit. They are always polite and respect privacy when I visit. They are very caring and attentive to all the residents needs. All are approachable and always able to answer any queries I may have. The home is always clean and free of any odours. The staff are all neat and tidy. All the residents look clean and well cared for. I like that all the staff wear uniforms. I am always kept well informed of any updates. I have no negative points to make. Excellent care home.
