You are made to feel part of the family and nothing is too much bother for the staff.
I would certainly recommend this care home to anyone in the future.
Could not have found a better place for my husband. First class care and can go to bed and sleep knowing he is getting looked after, with wonderful carers, he thinks he's in a hotel.
My papa has been at Lomond Court Care Home for just over 2 years and the care he has had in that time has been amazing. The care home is always very clean and the staff are always extremely welcoming and helpful when you come to visit. The care home really makes sure my papa is happy and they are always looking for ways to ensure the residents are entertained.
Lomond Court Care Home is a very caring and sympathetic home for those suffering from dementia. The staff are professional, well-trained and polite, despite the nature of their work, they remain friendly and positive. It is a relief for me, as a husband, having to leave my wife at the home after my visits, that she will be cared for with dignity. Residents are often taken out on trips to the beach, botanical gardens, etc., and singing, bowling and dinner in the garden in summer are frequent. The manager is excellent, cannot say more, thank you all!
Excellent staff and management very caring and compassionate in a very good environment and setting. Helped my mother settle into a new and strange environment. Very happy with overall care.
With the change in management a more relaxed atmosphere has been established and the staff more relaxed, friendly and most importantly consistent staffing.
Mum's quality of life has improved dramatically with the use of the cafe area. Mum loves "going out" to the cafe where she gets tea and biscuits at a lovely set table. Like today it's nail day and I get to sit with Mum in a salon atmosphere, painting her nails. The best thing for Mum is hair day, where she sits under the dryer with a cuppa and biscuits. Monday was lipstick day and Mum is clutching her new lipstick. Mum says she is happy here and I can think of no greater compliment than that. I know my mum is well cared for and that gives me so much peace of mind. Keep up the good work.
Implementing change is not an easy thing to do but the manager and her team have created an environment that reflects individuality, independence and personal choice.
There is always something going on now, but inclusion reflects the person's choice. For my mum she is enjoying being a social butterfly again within the setting of the home.
The other week Mum and I shared a Reiki session downstairs in the sensory room. That was such a wonderful experience as it reflected times we shared in the past.
Perfect place for my mother. Easy, non-restricted access. All staff and managers are perfect and professional. The food is great. The staff is always attentive. Entertainment is always on. She is in a lovely room which she likes.
Very welcoming environment. My father has settled in very well. The staff are so helpful and positive. My father is safe and well looked after which gives our family peace of mind after a very difficult period.
I am very happy with the care that my mum receives at Lomond Court. Staff are warm, supportive and kind - they show real care and attention. Everyone is helpful and friendly, and they know and understand Mum well. Mum's room is always spotless and the communal spaces are comfortable and clean, with homely touches. The home is promptly in touch with me if needed, and I am made to feel welcome when I visit.
Lomond Court were welcoming, caring and friendly to us all when Dad moved in. We were so nervous but they were kind and helped Dad to settle in. It's got a great garden which is fantastic for residents who like to get outside, the food looks great and they seem to understand that everyone is different and that's okay.
Our experience has been perfect, my dad has settled really well, has never asked to come home, is eating well, walking about and is generally happy, the staff here at Lomond Court can't do enough for you and are very polite, pleasant and always helpful; are very welcoming to everyone (including our dog which my dad loves so it's great that we ca bring her in).
The staff have made my dad feel welcome. They have treated him and my family with the utmost respect, from the cleaners, the canteen staff, maintenance, dry cleaners, clerical, nurses, carers, etc. My dad was scared when he went into a nursing home. We were scared too. But the staff at Lomond Court made it easy. Thank you, Lomond Court.
I am extremely satisfied with the care of my husband. All staff were caring and respectful. They have been very supportive to myself and my son.
Extremely pleased with care provided - happy with everything.
My father has been in Lomond Court for ten years and we have always been very happy with the care and attention he receives. All the staff, including management, carers, cleaners, catering, maintenance etc are all very friendly and very helpful. The fact that my father refers to Lomond Court as "home" says it all.
The home is spotlessly clean, could not fault it.
Management are always there to help also.
Can't fault Lomond Court Care Home in any way. First class in everything.
My dad had a very happy experience in the four years he was in the care home. He had a great time doing activities, i.e. planting, painting, and also the singalong, which he enjoyed. Staff could do no more than they did to make sure he was comfy, showered, and helped with food when he needed assistance. The room was clean and always tidy. I left knowing my dad was always safe at Lomond Court, as security was good. Management was always helpful.
After a long while trying to get my papa a home, we, as a family, definitely chose the right one. The staff are incredible - nothing is ever an issue to them. They're always happy to help and make you feel so welcome. It's like a big extended family, which makes me feel happy about how well my papa is looked after. He seems so settled, which is peace of mind for the family. The home is always clean. I like how the residents walk about freely and do not just sit in one room. I can not praise the staff enough here, and always enjoy my visits with my papa and chats with the staff and other residents, just as it should be, made to feel welcome. Not one complaint from me about here.
As is shown above and below all aspects of care are maintained to an extremely high level. I am an experienced Registered Nurse and this review is based on my experience as a visitor. Attributes are shown by all staff involved: dedication, professionalism, knowledgable, caring and patients. Holistic care is provided ie physical, psychological and emotional to residents and their families, this is very difficult to sustain at high levels but the staff do so. All safety measures were performed especially those required over the past years and months.
