All the staff are lovely and attentive. They have always really looked after my dad since the day he arrived. Nothing is too much hassle for them when they are asked to help with something. The Beeches is always really clean too. I love that my dad is taken out on day trips too instead of him always being stuck indoors. In the beginning my dad was always trying to escape so they took extra security precautions to help with this.

Reply from Angela Parnell, Home manager at The Beeches Care Home

The home is always clean, welcoming and calm and the team goes above and beyond to make sure all residents feel comfortable and engaged. They keep us as a family regularly and are always happy to answer questions over mums needs. Her wellbeing whilst here is so positive. It is a huge relief knowing she is safe, supported and surrounded by people who truly see her as a person and not just her dementia. I highly recommend The Beeches.

My brother was a resident in your care home for the last 2 and a half years,he recently passed away,as we live in England we didn't get to visit as often as we would have liked. But when we did visit I was very impressed with the dignity and compassion with which all the staff treated him with.i would like to thank everyone concerned in his care while he was there.

My dad was in another home previously and since coming to The Beeches Care Home, I can honestly say its night and day in comparison. It's like going from a one star hotel to a five star hotel. My dad loves the Beeches and looks in the staff as his "new family" and he feels like they give him special attention. He gets taken out on walks and he loves his time in the garden. The only thing regarding dad's choices is he always cooked his own food and although I don't see anything wrong with the food in the Beeches, he likes the same things and this is no disrespect to the home kitchen. Dad never misses the entertainment and it gives him a sense of purpose and something to look forward to. The attention he is given makes him feel as if he is valued and important.

As soon as I entered The Beeches Care Home, my gut feeling told me that I had found the correct place to take care of my wife's needs who suffers from dementia. After 6 months of visiting, my initial judgement of the place is the same. The friendly cheerful atmosphere created by management and admin staff on entering foyer is followed through in a similar manner by a dedicated diverse group of care staff who are constantly at hand ready to provide compassionate care. My wife's room, the communal lounge and dining rooms are bright and clean and with the beautiful enclosed rear garden, the Beeches provides a truly tranquil surroundings for my wife. From the manager, care staff, nurses, cooks, cleaners and laundry staff, they all demonstrate care and compassion at the highest level and for this my family and myself are truly thankful.

As I am only in 1 hour on a Monday morning and Tuesday afternoon, I may not see what activities are going on throughout days I am not in the home. The unit I visit has less able residents so this will impact on services being provided. There is always music being played when I am in for my hour, be it on TV, through a smart speaker or staff having a sing-a-long. The staff are very attentive and respectful of all respectful of all residents as far as I witness.

Christmas and New year was fantastic this year. Between the party and shows they had before Christmas day, to Santa paying them a visit, and leaving something in their stocking and a traditional dinner. There was a great atmosphere. Hogmanay had a party vibe with a singer and the piper was excellent. The non alcoholic prosecco went down well. My mum had a ball.

This care home is fantastic! All of the staff, from the manager through to the care workers, they are exceptional. They all have such compassion and empathy for all the residents and go above and beyond in the day to day happiness of everyone. It feels like one big happy family and I am so pleased to have found this home for my mum! The food is tasty with a great choice. They took great care in making Mum's room feel homely, with photos and pictures. I would highly recommend this home to anyone who has a loved one that needs special care and love.

I feel so pleased that my uncle is living at The Beeches Care Home. He is suffering from dementia. From the moment he was welcomed at the door, his care has been consistently good. The staff are very committed to their work. He is treated with compassion and respect. He has a great sense of humour which they encourage. I myself feel welcomed and supported. I feel confident after every visit that he is in safe hands.

Mum has settled in very well at The Beeches Care Home. She is in late stages of dementia and all staff treat her with dignity and the level of care she receives is second to none. The room is always clean and tidy and if anything needs attention it is dealt with quickly. Mum is always dressed with care and always looks lovely. She certainly doesn't want for food as the meals provided look delicious, tea and cake when visiting is always a bonus. Overall, we as a family are very happy with the level of care mum receives and more importantly so is she.

Overall I am delighted with The Beeches Care Home who constantly try to problem-solve my Dad's complex Dementia needs. They are open, honest and flexible and operate to high standards. I also feel I can openly discuss concerns or views and that I am listened to. They also understand families and how difficult it can be to manage a loved one in care. I know my dad is well-fed, safe, warm and well-cared for and that the management are always looking to tweak little things to improve his quality of life. He has been in The Beeches 1 year as from tomorrow and the difference in his overall quality of life in that year has been quite staggering given his predicament when he first arrived. All the thanks and huge well done.

Mum has been at The Beeches for 8 and a half years. She has been well looked after and loved during that time. During the last few weeks of her life, the staff were just wonderful, taking care of her every need and making sure she was as comfortable as possible.
Not only that they always had time for me, to chat, and give me support and hugs when I needed it. Many of the staff are still there from when Mum moved it, that speaks volumes to me. They are not only staff but feel like part of my family. I will never forget them.

Be proud of yourselves, you make The Beeches the places that it is today. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I was told by the doctor that because my mum had contracted Covid she wasn't going to make it, she was gravely ill. Due to the exceptional care she received from the care home staff at The Beeches Mum is now back to herself and is doing amazing and I believe that is down to them taking good care of her. For that, I am extremely grateful.

My mum has been well looked after and cared for. I'm very pleased with the care she has been given as she was very unwell before Christmas and we thought we were going to lose her, but thankfully with the care she received she made a great recovery and I'm very thankful to the staff for that.

My mum now stays here after a long period of time in hospital.
We have actually been overwhelmed at the excellent standard of care. All the staff have simply been so friendly and welcoming. Their professionalism is so evident as they all work hard to help her settle.
I have to say, it's given my mum a new lease of life. That is so comforting for us, as a family.
Communication has been brilliant.
Her medical needs are attended to without issue and all of this is done professionally with no fuss.
The home is spotless, well-maintained, food is brilliant, the management team are visual and helpful, laundry is great and the carers' expertise is admirable.

The care, as I said, is exemplary and what is so evident, it's delivered by a cohesive team and I just get such a positive vibe from them. They should all be very proud of their professionalism and the positive impact this has on others.

My mother's stay, albeit short, was the best possible treatment. Compared to her stay at another nursing home, The Beeches Care Home is five-star and the other was minus-one-star.
Everyone is treated with care and respect and the utmost dignity.

Myself and family were looked after wonderfully. I wish to thank everyone for their genuine care for their work. Anyone looking for a nursing home for their loved one, choose here.
