Finding a care home for a loved one is one of the most difficult decisions you will ever make. To find this little gem has give us peace of mind, knowing that our loved one is getting the best care possible. Managed well and the staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always there to help and advise as required. The residents have lots of activities and live music is a regular event.

Visitors are made very welcome. It's a lovely welcoming place with a real homely feel. Highly recommended. We feel blessed to have found it.

Wow! What a heartwarming experience I had today. Attended an outdoor event with two artists as guests of Suky & Scott (resident).was delightfull to watch the staff interact with ALL the residents and keep the fluids and snacks coming. A caregiver in an orange top stands out for me along with the lovely manager for the upbeat and enthusiastic attitude to the care and attention given to the residents. Another caregiver called Simon (I think) was also instrumental in making everyone feel included. Thank you Brandon house care home for a wonderful afternoon and hopefully I will be back for your next event

My husband has been a permanent resident at Brandon House for the past 10 months. Although an older building presents some restrictions and disadvantages, best use has been made of its assets and welcome improvements have been made in the gardens and parts of the house.

Through incredibly difficult times for our family what I have most appreciated is the welcome and the care provided by the management team and staff. This June we particularly appreciated the effort made to make it possible to be at our granddaughter's wedding - no mean feat, but it made all the difference to my husband's mental well-being.

Brandon House benefits from the leadership of an organised, efficient, caring and fair-minded manager. This is inevitably reflected by the team of staff and the best standards of courtesy and
care for residents. There is a warm and welcoming atmosphere from friendly, helpful staff.

Whilst it is always possible to see room for improvement, I appreciate all the hard work.

My dad has lived at Brandon House for just over a year and he has improved physically and mentally in that time due to the care he has been given.
The staff treat the residents like family and try to accommodate their interests by providing suitable activities and trips.
Although it is frustrating for Dad and us that he can't live at home any longer, we are made to feel welcome by staff when we visit and if possible they give us space to be together.
We especially appreciate the efforts made by the manager and staff to take him to his granddaughter's wedding recently as we couldn't have done it without them.
Brandon House celebrates it's residents and has lots of photos and memories of activities all around.

Overall I am happy with the care provided and know that my dad is safe and being looked after.

I came to Brandon House Care Home from hospital for respite care for six weeks, I thought I don't need this. But I can honestly say the manager and staff have been so good looking after me and including me in all their activities, it has felt like home from home. I have made some friends here, and when I am fully fit, I want to come back and see everybody as a volunteer. I will miss everyone next week. It has been a privilege to be part of Brandon House Care Home.

I have mixed reviews as some staff go above & beyond while others don't seem interested. Management are also tempermental as they seem very interested/make great entertainment choices however struggle with some family predicaments and ask for unrealistic expectations.

Overall care home is lovely.

My dad was a resident at Brandon House Care Home for about 18 months. He sadly passed away this April 2024, peacefully at Brandon House. He was looked after with dignity and a high level of care was given to him during his stay. He loved living here, it felt like his home. The staff are all lovely, and the food is excellent. My dad always enjoyed the hot puddings.
