A massive thank you is due to Brandon House for helping to make my mum smile on her birthday. Even through a window they went the extra mile and it was lovely to hear the staff talking about Mum with such knowledge and affection. Thank you.

My mother has advanced dementia and has been in the home for 6-years. The home is run efficiently and with dignity and care for the residents. The manager and staff are kind and always have time to listen to your requests, worries and do their best to help you. They have been outstanding during the pandemic, keeping in touch via a regular newsletter and setting up WhatsApp groups to keep regular contact with relatives. The manager goes above and beyond and truly cares about the residents. I fully recommend this home.

Just like to say how happy we are with Mum's care. The staff always go the extra mile to make the residents feel at home and part of the family, particularly during the challenging time of COVID-19. They have excelled at keeping them all safe and well.

I would like to express my gratitude to all the staff that work at Brandon House Care Home. Throughout this Covid 19 outbreak, the manager and her team have kept me updated and sent photos, etc. of my dad. This has helped immensely, I couldn't wish for a better team looking after him. He always looks happy on recent WhatsApp video calls to me from him. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Thank you from the family.

Cannot fault any staff. All staff were absolutely brilliant. Kind, caring and professional in their work, I admire them all for the vital work they do for people in great need. Sometimes nearing the end of their life. They did all they could for mum. They fed her good food when in hospital they struggled to do this at times. With great difficulty, they pushed her in a chair in the lounge. Mum loved dogs and they gave her one to cuddle. The place is filled with music. On each door is a picture of maybe, what the resident used to look like, what they used to like doing. To remind us all...that it’s not just an old person lying in a bed.

Lovely dining room, overlooking the garden. Again filled with photos of residents. A small pretend post office, a small hairdressers and pretend pub make this feel like a proper home. There are pretend dogs and babies. When weather warmer they sometimes have live entertainment in the garden. They can do no more.

My cousin has stayed in quite a few homes in the last few years. We can honestly say Brandon House is the best. The care is very good. We always find it very homely and welcoming. Very few homes put on entertainment and fetes for the residents and families like Brandon House. A good all-round home with caring staff.

When it became time for my Mother to go into Nursing Care, after her Dementia deteriorated to the point that my Father could no longer cope with her at home, we chose Brandon House based on research on this site and the ratings it had received. We visited Brandon House on spec with no prior call ahead and we could not have been made more welcome. We were shown all around the home including a bedroom, the lounges and dining room etc before meeting the Deputy Manager. After chatting for some time we took the decision that Brandon House would be perfect for Mum. To date we cannot fault the level of care she has received and are so grateful to all the staff, as the level of care they provide is amazing. There are lots of activities that the residents get involved in from sing-a-longs to shows from Tribute Acts and all the main festivals during the year, with nativities, Harvest Festival, Chinese New Year to name a few. Thank you to all the staff at Brandon House for the care you all provide.

Although my mother has only been a resident for a short time I feel that all the staff at Brandon House have been very caring, supportive and obliging as at her age she finds difficulty in change. The home overall is excellent, security, cleanliness, meals and a cosy feel.

Having had experience of three other care homes, Brandon House was by far the best. My husband was happy and content with the care and consideration he was given. The staff are happy and considerate at all times, even at the end of a twelve-hour shift. They all deserve double their salary. This, of course, is brought about by interest and experience of the excellent management who are about at times to answer questions from staff or visitors.
