The carers, nursing staff, kitchen staff and management do their very best to make my husband feel safe and happy. They use prompts as my husband cannot say what he needs. He always smiles when spoken to by any member of staff.

My dad sadly passed away on Friday 20th October 2017. He passed away peacefully in hospital. Although the care at hospital was very good, I would have preferred him to have spent his last hours at Brandon House. That is how highly I rate the loving care he received at Brandon House. I was always made to feel that my dad was special. The staff, who I found friendly and welcoming every time I visited, genuinely cared for him. The manager understood it was not easy visiting a relative with Alzheimer's dementia, as did all the staff. To me that's important as visits can feel uncomfortable, especially when it is difficult to even communicate with your dad. There was always a professional approach in the warmth of the friendly atmosphere created. My dad was clearly at home there and never appeared concerned or unduly upset. All admin was dealt with without fuss or complication. Thank you to everyone who cared for my Dad.

So happy our dad is now in this home. Staff demonstrate a genuine, caring, respectful attitude towards him.
Presentation of meals, ironed clothes, beautiful building and well-maintained gardens. I can't fault anything, an all-round fantastic home!
We love that he is taken out on day trips and there are regular events/ activities for him to take part in should he wish to.

As a family, we are so grateful for the care, time and attention our dad receives from all at Brandon House. Thank you!

Out of other homes in the area visited or experienced the management and staffing at Brandon House Care Home arise of the highest order. Frontline staff show empathy and care that continually impresses me. The catering and maintenance staff also deserve credit, when one considers the age of the building, that retains character. I am also impressed with the entertainment for residents, their families and visitors as there is always something on the agenda to look forward to complimentary tea and biscuits whilst visiting - WOW!

My wife who is at the late stage of dementia and since her admission to Brandon House, has received dignified care and attention, which could only be provided by staff that have been trained to a high standard. Any request or task never seems a problem, noticeable by the pleasant attitude in all the care given. I visit my wife on a regular basis and have always been treated with courtesy and respect, this with the excellent way my wife is cared for enables me to return home relaxed and content that all is being done to make her comfortable. My sincere thanks to all concerned at this first class nursing home.
