My friend is very well looked after and seems very happy. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Brandon House is a lovely place. The staff are extremely friendly and always very helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
A lovely home with staff who are always friendly. I wish the home every success in the future.
Nursing home has high standards and staff are very helpful and kind.
A well-managed and caring environment. All covid guidelines are adhered to when visiting to ensure families safety as well as others in the care home. Staff are always friendly and on hand to help in any way possible. My mother and father-in-law have both expressed how well they are being cared for and how nice the meals are.
First-class care and attention. Lovely staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Had a great time in the pod on our last visit. My husband seems happy and settled and I have no worries when I'm not there.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The care given to my mum is excellent, especially with mum dementia care. We have regular monthly relatives support group meetings on Zoom, which is beneficial for the staff and all relatives of the residents at Brandon House. There is always some form or activity arranged for the residents to be involved with, which has been difficult during the last year due to COVID regulations. Keep up the good work.
Lovely caring staff, always someone one hand if needed. Not only caring for my husband but making sure I was ok. The food is excellent and nice variations. The rooms are comfortable and spacious all with spacious cupboard space
My father-in-law has just moved into Brandon House. He has been treated with respect and dignity, the carers and team are fantastic, not only to my father-in-law but also to our family. They have a lovely environment and garden and have real ducks!!
My mum had wonderful care at Brandon House. The staff were warm, compassionate and caring, nothing was too much trouble. My mum was treated with love and respect and was able to have a peaceful death. The care was also extended to my brother, who was mum's main carer prior to admission and also to myself. Mum was happy at Brandon House and I was relieved to know she was being so well cared for. The home looked very homely and there were lots of nice touches for residents and plenty of activities. The staff should be recognised for their qualities and given as much respect as NHS nurses seem to get, including better wages.
Very pleased with the care provided for my mother. Staff are friendly and I am kept up to date with any changes etc at the care home.
During the short time, my spouse has been a resident, I have found Brandon House to be somewhere he is safe, well looked after, treated with dignity and settled. My questions have been answered fully, and the information asked for is given freely. I recommend Brandon House to anyone requiring dementia care. The staff are friendly, caring and very helpful.
Mum only recently moved to Brandon House. We are very happy with the way mum is being cared for. Love the energy and friendly atmosphere. We look forward to working with all the staff members of Brandon House to support mum in the best way. More family visits will b e very welcome as its been difficult not seeing mum.
The care home is giving quality care at all levels. Staff are friendly and supportive at all times and have done a wonderful job throughout this pandemic.
Brandon House is one of the best care homes. The staff go above and beyond for not only service users but their family as well. They all have worked so hard during the whole of lockdown, keeping family updated on everything. So well done to each and every staff member.
Brandon House doesn’t look like a residential nursing home from the outside and as we couldn’t physically look round the home due to Covid restrictions, we had a virtual tour instead. The manager of Brandon House took us around and we felt there was a nice vibe about the place. It has old fashioned high ceilings and lovely lights and didn’t look overwhelmingly like a residential home on the inside either. The team have a wonderful sense of fun and enthusiasm and like to find out what interests and hobbies the residents have and incorporate these into their daily lives. The team are quick to inform us if there's any change regarding Mum and the manager has set up a relatives' messaging group to keep us up to date with what activities are going on. It’s a hard decision choosing the right nursing home and there’s a lot of nursing homes to choose from and I can say we’re happy with the choice we made.
My mother moved into Brandon House in November 2020. The Covid restrictions had not made choosing a home easy as we could not visit. However, we did have a Zoom call with the Manager and a couple of staff members. We were taken on a walkabout of the home. We finished the call with a good feeling about Brandon House. The home likes to find out what interests and activities their residents like and my mother, being a life long keep-fitter, has been given the chance to run a class for staff and residents. The classes seem to be enjoyed by all. Our family have found the staff at Brandon to be proactive, professional, friendly and caring.
My foster mum is the happiest I’ve seen her in the past 12 months at Brandon House Care Home. The staff are amazing with all they do for her, and the activities that keep her going. Mum loves singing and dancing, which they do a lot of, and brings her lots of joy. Collectively the care and energy the staff put in is applaudable, and I owe my sincere thank you to them all.
I can't express enough the care my uncle received at Brandon House was outstanding. All the staff are friendly, caring and supportive. A special thanks to all the nursing staff in the latter weeks of my incle's life. Thanks to the manager for running a fabulous home.
Their management of COVID has been in my opinion exemplary, keeping both residents and staff free of infection. They achieved this through vigilance and nimbleness to react quickly to understand advice and implement changes quickly.
If you are reading this to get a feel for where to place your loved one when it becomes necessary, I would just say, this was the right choice for me.
