Dovedale Court Care Home, located just outside the lovely market town of Wednesbury in the West Midlands, offers personalised nursing and residential dementia care in a friendly and welcoming setting.

A real home-from-home, Dovedale Court boasts a plethora of spots where residents can relax and socialise. Recently refurbished, residents also benefit from specially designed furnishings which maximise comfort and ensure residents feel at home. I can't elaborate how wonderful this care home is, my husband is blind and was in Dovedale Court for a week. The staff was outstanding with my husband. Food was outstanding. My Dad resided here 30th December 2024 after my Husband and I came to view it. First impressions were very good. We passed on the information to my Dad, to which we said we hope we have picked the right place for you. We could not have been any closer to the truth because he settled in very well and
still feels the same. Obviously he was worried about moving in because it is a very big upheaval for anyone of his age. We definitely made the correct choice. Well done to all the staff. It is like we have known them for years.

My mom has been a resident at Dovedale Court for a few years, firstly on residential and latterly on nursing. All the staff have always been respectful, loving and caring of not just my mom's needs but those of mine and my family. Over the past few weeks, my mom has been cared for on nursing end-of-life
care. The staff have been truly amazing at this difficult time ensuring that my mom was loved, cared for and comfortable until the end of her life. They also made sure that our wishes were met, and are more like a family to us. I wouldn't have wished for a better place for my mom to spend her final days in a lovely caring place. Can't comment highly enough. Thank you!

My mom has come on so well since she has been a resident at Dovedale Court Care Home it is lovely to see her happy settled and well cared for after some bad experiences with other care homes. The staff are friendly and always helpful. Her bedroom is always clean and tidy. The meals are really nice and

Our parents spent two years at this establishment and we found it to be very clean and excellently managed. This home is not a place where a resident has behavioural dementia. I feel the home needs to clearly state this in order for persons to be assessed properly and not get moved 2 1/2 years into
their time there, but overall it's run well.

Very good facilities and the staff are excellent and loving to my mother even though she could be rude and hurtful, food-wise. My mother was on a soft diet, and although on a soft diet, thought the choices should still have been more varied. The bedroom is clean and tidy however needs a bit of love

Since Mom's admission to Dovedale Court for assessment and subsequent residency, I have been more than satisfied with her treatment and care. That Mom has settled into life in the community of Dovedale is testimony to the dedication and hard work of all the staff, without exception.

My mam has been a resident at Dovedale Court since February 2024. She is very happy here and settled in quickly. Every member of staff is so helpful and kind, they are 100% caring carers and love their jobs. Communication is excellent, I always know how Mam's been every day and throughout the night.
She loves the food, the meals are varied and nutritious, and there are always plenty of activities. I can't recommend Dovedale Court enough. My mam is safe, happy, clean and well cared for.

Our mom spent her end-of-life care here after leaving the hospital. We instantly felt a warm, caring, happy environment as we first entered the home. Every staff member was kind, loving, professional and relatable. We were very happy Mom spent her last weeks in this home, it gave us much-needed peace
of mind. In her last hours, we were talked through the process, provided with food, drinks and emotional support. The management and staff here are excellent and we thank you all for the love and care extended to Mom and her daughters.

As a dedicated healthcare professional, Dawn has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Dawn closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Dovedale Court.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Dawn remarked:
