Dovedale Court Care Home

Since my father has been with dove dale court they have all been amazing with my dad he has settled in to his new home very well and that's all down to the staff and management they are all fantastic they go above and beyond for there residents making each and everyone feel welcome and most of all settled and happy I have gone on to their face book page and seen my dad absolutely living his best life happy and content along with the other residents my dad loves to sing (ALOT) I was present when they had singers in for the afternoon and the atomosphere there was just amazing seeing all the residents enjoying themselves and dancing staff included was a joy to watch and be part of. I would highly recommend Dovedale court I wouldn't want my father anywhere else other than there.

What can I say about this care home, the staff are amazing very kind and friendly..my sister got great care from the first day the managment are amazing very hands on. I The rooms are lovely kept very well cleaned every day. The food is amazing the chef even came in and asked what she liked to eat. I would definatly recommend this home

My name is Rob, husband and carer for wife Sue. In late July/early august I had to spend time in hospital for a few weeks. So I rang Dovedale Court because I knew it had an excellent reputation from having a family member as a resident before. I had a short interview with the manager so they could find out exactly what care my wife needed, her medications and times to give them etc. We have been married for 47 years and in all that time we have never been apart, not even for one day. Dovedale Court was the only care home I contacted because I knew of their reputation and I have to say, they exceeded both my wife and my own expectations. The rooms were well equipped and very comfortable. Most important of all my wife found every single member of staff to be extremely caring and very friendly. They could not do enough for her. While I was in hospital I obviously could not visit her but I phoned her every day and she said she really enjoyed her stay. I highly recommend this care home.

Dovedale Court is a very friendly residence. All staff are excellent. Always obliging and helpful. My sister-in-law has been here 6 months and seems settled now.

Dovedale Court care home was a very friendly care home, the staff were great for respite care stay the accomodated the needs required for my husband.

Our mom spent 2 weeks in the care home and they were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much for the staff, she actually enjoyed the stay, would use this home again and tell other people about it.

Although my father was a resident for a short time, he was treated by all staff with kindness and respect. Whenever we visited we felt welcome. The home had a lovely atmopshere which made the transition to the home easier for all of us. Thank you to all staff, who make Dovedale Court so special.

My mother was extremely well looked after even given resident ambassador status. Well looked on as a personal friend by all staff and other residents.

Could not fault the care my wife recieved in the short time she was and the also given to me from all of the staff.

My experience over 12 mts was very good from management and all the staff very helpfull. The home as a warm and happy place to live. Tony my best friend always said I am not depresd which pleased me very much.

They looked after my father very well in his short time there, and were very good to us when we passed.

Great service, amazing staff, food is lovely and cater for all of my mom's needs. Managements are always there to offer support and guidance when I need this for my mom. My mom settled in the home so quickly and as made so many friends. Thank you Dovedale

My aunt has been a resident with Dovedale Court over a year. She is always treated with such amazing care and dignity. She came in just for respite but has now become permanent.

I can't elaborate how wonderful this care home is, my husband is blind and was in Dovedale Court for a week. The staff was outstanding with my husband. Food was outstanding. He was very well looked after and said he has very much enjoyed himself. Thank you so much. I will definitely only use Dovedale Court in the future.

My Dad resided here 30th December 2024 after my Husband and I came to view it. First impressions were very good. We passed on the information to my Dad, to which we said we hope we have picked the right place for you. We could not have been any closer to the truth because he settled in very well and still feels the same. Obviously he was worried about moving in because it is a very big upheaval for anyone of his age. We definitely made the correct choice. Well done to all the staff. It is like we have known them for years.

My mom has been a resident at Dovedale Court for a few years, firstly on residential and latterly on nursing. All the staff have always been respectful, loving and caring of not just my mom's needs but those of mine and my family. Over the past few weeks, my mom has been cared for on nursing end-of-life care. The staff have been truly amazing at this difficult time ensuring that my mom was loved, cared for and comfortable until the end of her life. They also made sure that our wishes were met, and are more like a family to us. I wouldn't have wished for a better place for my mom to spend her final days in a lovely caring place. Can't comment highly enough. Thank you!
