You could not wish for a better home for a loved one. Staff excellent and make all visits a treat. If there is a better home than this it must be run by angels above.

Each and every member of staff conducted themselves professionally answering any questions with a great amount of respect and knowledge. Handled my grandmother with utmost empathy and dignity not only till her last breath but also after her death.
When she passed away members of staff consoled us just like members of my own family despite the fact she had been with them no more than a fortnight.
When she stopped eating or drinking due to her dementia the staff spared no effort to cajole my grandmother to have at least something.
With all the horror stories we hear about care homes I was not keen at all on my grandmother being in any nursing home despite the fact she desperately required palative care for her last days.
However, the staff here genuinely enjoyed their work and have won our admiration.

May God bless each and every one.of you

I have always found the staff very helpful and understanding of my grandmother's needs. They were very good at helping her to settle into her room and the routine of everyday life here. They are also encouraging her to join in with any activities without being overbearing. They have been very good with her. She is looked after very well.

My mother was resident at Dovedale Court Care Home from November 2016, initially in the residential unit, moving to nursing care in February 2017. Our experience of the care she received in both units was very positive, she was treated with respect and staff went out of their way to try to meet her individual needs. Staff in both units were warm and friendly and seemed genuinely interested and caring towards her and supportive of us, her family. She passed away there on 31/03/17 and in death, their concern for her dignity continued.

My mother was only in Dovedale for just over 12 months. Unfortunately, she passed away on there on the 21/1/17 but in the 12 months she was there, with the illness she had, she was extremely well looked after and cared for by the members of staff.

Staff treated my dad like he was theirs. I could not fault in any way their care and they were very helpful to me in trying times.

I do not know what I would have done without them. They are all a credit to you.

We visited several other care homes within the region before deciding on Dovedale Court but from the moment we walked in the door the feeling we got from the staff and residents was great. The care plan was very detailed and the explanation of everything was clear and easily understood before proceeding. I would thoroughly recommend Dovedale Court for all a persons needs it would be home from home and everything a person could want for their loved one.

Having little experience of care homes, the staff were exceptional, they were there for the resident and the family and made you feel at ease. The rooms were adequate, we unfortunately experienced losing someone at this home and the care, tenderness and dignity they gave was outstanding.

I am a resident at Dovedale Court. I am very happy with the care I receive, the staff are always very friendly and they chat with me. Staff were very welcoming when I first came to Dovedale and they helped me to settle in. It was a nervous time for me but they helped me to settle now I don't want to go anywhere else. The food here at Dovedale is really nice and well presented.
