Dovedale Court Care Home

Definitely recommend.

My visit to Dovedale Court today was a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, all the residents were happy. The standard of the roos was excellent with plenty of space.

Mom is quite happy here. Staff seem very helpful. She enjoys her food and overall she is in good spirits.

Excellent HCA will do anything for me. Always helpful.

Staff are brilliant, very helpful and understanding.

My mother, on the whole, was treated excellently by the staff. During her final days, she was cared for in a way that you would wish for a mother to be cared for.

My only complaint was that during mum's final days, we didn't get a visit from the manager. She didn't appear after mum had passed away and I didn't receive any letter or card which would have been nice as mum was a well-loved, long-term resident. Maybe that is something you might like to look at as it would have been appreciated.

The staff work hard trying to get the residents involved in daily activities, which is hard work with some of them. They have a lot of paperwork to do but most still manage a smile. Sometimes my uncle looks as if his clothes need changing but otherwise no problems.

I haven't seen grandad for a few months as I live abroad. I came to visit him at Dovedale Court and he looked amazing. The staff were extremely welcoming and I could just see that they were all like an extended family, from the house keeps to the manager, I could not fault a thing.

I enjoy living at this home. The food is fine.

I would like to go out sometimes, not stopping in the home all day.

My father has been a resident for a few years now and I would recommend Dovedale Court to anyone. The staff, even through changes, are professional, friendly and most important of all, naturally caring. I have never once had any concerns. I can sleep at night knowing my father is in safe hands. The food is amazing too.

Dad is always smiling and I know this is down to the care he is receiving by the amazing staff.

Dad moved into care at the end of June. The staff at Dovedale have been just fabulous, ensuring that Dad has settled in as well as possible. We family quickly had the comfort that Dad is now well cared for. His transition into care has gone as well as it could have done. Thanks to the staff at Dovedale.

Well looked after, all needs met. Room kept tidy, staff most of the time are very good.

Very good. The care staff are very good and very friendly too. Really helpful.

The staff here are very warm and caring towards him and often make him laugh with their humour which I feel is so very important. We as a family visit on a regular basis and it now feels like a home from home. A warm and friendly place to be.

When my Nan moved into Dovedale Court, we immediately felt assured that the care she would get would be second to none and we weren't wrong. Top quality, no airs or graces, just heart felt care, so glad she is there; Home from Home.

Mum is very well looked after at Dovedale Court, she often says how she likes all of the staff as they are friendly, polite and work hard to make her feel at home. I thank them all for how they look after Mum.
