Dovedale Court Care Home, located just outside the lovely market town of Wednesbury in the West Midlands, offers personalised nursing and residential dementia care in a friendly and welcoming setting.

A real home-from-home, Dovedale Court boasts a plethora of spots where residents can relax and socialise. Recently refurbished, residents also benefit from specially designed furnishings which maximise comfort and ensure residents feel at home. The courtyard garden is a tranquil spot in which to spend time and to catch up with friends and family, and the on-site salon offers the perfect space to enjoy a little TLC.

The dedicated and professional care team at Dovedale Court take the time to learn about each resident’s hobbies and interests. Not only does this make it possible to build positive relationships with residents, but it also allows them to curate an activities programme that compliments each residents' interests, supporting them to get involved with the Dovedale Court lifestyle.

Residents are also encouraged to take an active role in the Wednesbury community in whatever way suits them, whether it be building relationships with neighbours in local community groups and schools or taking trips out and about in the local area.

I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff at Dovedale Court who provided the best care for many years but mainly in my nan's final days.
Dovedale staff treated my nan with great dignity and they cared till the very end.
While my nan was at Dovedale she received fantastic care from all staff
Dovedale
is such a friendly and inviting nursing home. Residents are extremely well looked after and included in all aspects of their home environment. The home is lovely, incredibly clean with excellent facilities for the residents. The staff work incredibly hard and do a fantastic job looking after all loved ones in every way.

My mom went to Dovedale in the first lockdown after suffering a stroke. This team that works there are absolutely fantastic. Throughout lockdown, they were in constant contact and at any time I wanted to call for any reason, even to talk to Mom, nothing was a problem. The whole team have worked extremely
hard to not only care for residents but keep them entertained due to cancellations of activities etc. The whole team there should be extremely proud of themselves and if and when my time ever comes I have to go into care I hope it's as caring as Dovedale.

We feel my mother's care is good. She is cared for well. She has positive things to say about the staff. She has made good relationships, she enjoys the food and if she doesn't want anything they always make sure something else is offered. Staff have good communication with the family and always let

Dovedale is a very caring home, all the staff are approachable and friendly. We have complete trust that our mom is being treated well and all her needs are being met. Mom always appears happy and contented and under the current circumstances, we couldn't ask for any more.

The care home is generally well maintained and kept clean and tidy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My father is being looked after well and is treated with dignity. I'm generally happy with the level of care Dad receives.

My mother-in-law is so lucky to be cared for at Dovedale Court. This care home is amazing, the staff are fantastic - they are caring, loving, capable and my mother-in-law is happy and so well looked after. I really couldn't ask for a more caring home for her. My mother-in-law is so lucky. A special

In my experience, the staff of Dovedale Court are very good. During the pandemic, they have tried to arrange visiting as best as they could under the rules they have to abide by. They have taken good care of my mother and always acted in her best interests. There is always someone to talk to if you

My mom is there on a short term placement before returning home.
I truly cannot believe the improvement in Mom since she has been there.
The young lady dealing with Mom has been wonderful, nothing is too much trouble.
Within 2 days of Mom being in there, they have arranged physio for her, this is
something she waited weeks for in hospital.
Highly recommend.

This care home is the best in the country. They are caring staff and go out of their way to help residents and relatives. I know my mom is happy there and I know she is safe and well because of all the staff that are there. I don't know what I'd do without the staff and also the activity people are

I have found Dovedale to be very professional and the staff are very friendly and treat Mom with the utmost respect. Mom is very comfortable and pain-free as she is now on end of life medication. She is treated with dignity by a very understanding staff who are aware of how difficult it is for our family
and always keep us up to date on Mom's condition.

Mom has now been at Dovedale Court Care Home for just over three years. Comfort, staff and atmosphere within the home are all amazing. All Mom's medical needs are taken care of. She improved pretty much straight away after being there only a few days, I am more than happy with the care and support provided.
The staff are all very caring and attentive and cater for Mom's needs every day.

As a dedicated healthcare professional, Dawn has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Dawn closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Dovedale Court.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Dawn remarked:


“I really enjoy being part of such a fantastic team. It means so much to me to work together to ensure our Residents are happy.”


Outside of work, Dawn is very family orientated, as she enjoys spending quality time with her children.
