Dovedale Court Care Home

I could not have found a better care home anywhere for my parents. The staff are like another family. I am the last person who ever wanted my parents in a home, but I am so satisfied that they are being looked after, are safe and loved. I said the other day, 'I want to come here when it's my turn'. Can not praise them enough. They would not be with us if it was not for this beautiful care home.

My mother was a resident at Dovedale Court, the staff are very friendly and welcoming she was there for fifteen months before sadly passing away, I was there during the night and the night staff was there for myself and my mom. She was well cared for and treated with dignity.

The care that the team has given my mom has been absolutely first-class in all aspects. The team are caring, professional, helpful and kind to Mom on all levels. The care home offers full activities and facilities for their residents and the support you offer all-round to our family at this difficult time is so comforting and we can't thank the team enough. Dovedale Court Care Home is a credit to your industry.

The staff are very welcoming and helpful. My mom has settled very well at Dovedale Court Care Home which is very comforting for myself and family. The staff also are very good with my elderly father when he visits his wife. All in all, very happy with everything.

The care team have been supportive of my mum and me through difficult times, recurring illness and working with other services to try to provide the best care and solutions for all of us. Their understanding and perseverance made a real difference. Thank you!

Dovedale Court Care Home is a very warm, welcoming home that supports the residents in a kind and caring manner and I am very grateful for everything they have done (staff) and for welcoming my nan in a loving way. The environment is also a clean and very hygienic place.

Dovedale is such a friendly and inviting nursing home. Residents are extremely well looked after and included in all aspects of their home environment. The home is lovely, incredibly clean with excellent facilities for the residents. The staff work incredibly hard and do a fantastic job looking after all loved ones in every way.

My mom went to Dovedale in the first lockdown after suffering a stroke. This team that works there are absolutely fantastic. Throughout lockdown, they were in constant contact and at any time I wanted to call for any reason, even to talk to Mom, nothing was a problem. The whole team have worked extremely hard to not only care for residents but keep them entertained due to cancellations of activities etc. The whole team there should be extremely proud of themselves and if and when my time ever comes I have to go into care I hope it's as caring as Dovedale.

We feel my mother's care is good. She is cared for well. She has positive things to say about the staff. She has made good relationships, she enjoys the food and if she doesn't want anything they always make sure something else is offered. Staff have good communication with the family and always let us know of any concerns.

Dovedale is a very caring home, all the staff are approachable and friendly. We have complete trust that our mom is being treated well and all her needs are being met. Mom always appears happy and contented and under the current circumstances, we couldn't ask for any more.

The care home is generally well maintained and kept clean and tidy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My father is being looked after well and is treated with dignity. I'm generally happy with the level of care Dad receives.

My mother-in-law is so lucky to be cared for at Dovedale Court. This care home is amazing, the staff are fantastic - they are caring, loving, capable and my mother-in-law is happy and so well looked after. I really couldn't ask for a more caring home for her. My mother-in-law is so lucky. A special mention for one staff member, all the staff are superb, but she goes further to ensure my mother-in-law is made comfortable. Well done Dovedale. Always found the staff to be cheerful and friendly in sometimes difficult times. They look after Mum very well.

I would just like to thank all staff for caring for my mom during difficult times. No one could have done more. I would recommend anyone in need. You will not get better. Thank you again, they have cared for my mom till the end.

In my experience, the staff of Dovedale Court are very good. During the pandemic, they have tried to arrange visiting as best as they could under the rules they have to abide by. They have taken good care of my mother and always acted in her best interests. There is always someone to talk to if you need help or advice.

Both management and carers have always been approachable, available and giving of their time and advice. My partner has had five-star treatment throughout his respite care at Dovedale Court and I would readily recommend anyone to this care home without hesitation. The level of care and cleanliness is outstanding. Very well done Dovedale Court.
