Yet again another lovely event put on at the home. Residents and family have a lovely time, entertainment food and games are always great, its great to see the residents having a great time up dancing with the staff and family my mum loves to dance which is great to see. I couldn't of asked for a better
care home for my mum. Thank you.

Consistently high standards in all aspects of care. Mum is thriving since arrived at Victoria Manor. Excellent relationships between staff and residents and very good relationships with staff and carers families. Nothing is too much trouble. Food, cleanliness without fault. Range of activities to stimulate
and entertain. Mum feels safe and says she is well cared for and she has no complaints and we, her family agree. Would highly recommend Victoria Manor without reservation.

My mum has been in victoria manor for 3 years now, she is treated so well ,staff honestly go above and beyond in all they do , sadly my mum become quite poorly and the level of compassion shown by staff was so beautiful , mum back home now after few weeks in hospital and is being looked after so so
well . I was there today watching staff dancing with residents chatting and generally having a great time . I thought you no if I ever need to go into a care home myself I hope i will be able to get somewhere like victoria manor , staff are real earth angels and myself and family will be forever greatful for the care that is shown to our mum

The staff at Victoria Manor are outstanding, unfortunately my mum recently became unwell and this resulted in her being admitted into hospital, thanks to the dedicated staff team she received the medical assistance she required quickly, paramedics pointed out that the staff member was very knowledgeable
and gave them the information they required quickly and efficiently, the staff have been excellent and I cannot thank them enough, visiting my mum in hospital in their own time. They truly care about their residents, I couldn't wish for anybody better to be looking after my mum, to us they are her family too. Thank you so much.

The Christmas party was great. A great example of staff doing activities with residents. Lots of family came to see lights turned on and staff dealt with it really well. Always kind and caring. Never any issue talking to staff.

We are extremely happy with Victoria Manor Care Home. My Dad is settled and very well looked after. They do lots of activities and outings and try and include my family and friends in these. The staff are very caring and keep us up to date regarding any medical issues or appointments etc. I would have

Mum is getting the care she needs at a level we at home could not do. She always looks clean and tidy, and the home is always immaculate. The staff are very patient and very caring. We could not ask for more.

I am very pleased with all aspects of the care home. Staff look after residents well. My mum is always well dressed and her personal hygiene is attended to. Activities happen on a daily basis. We have just attended an open day held in the lovely garden. Food, drink and entertainment were provided. My
mum and I thoroughly enjoyed the day. Mum has lots of choices in the restaurant and tea and cake is always available. I am happy with all the care given to my mum.

Attended an Open Day on the 29th of June. It was superb. The attention to detail was very high. Residents were cared for in every way. Was lovely to spend time with other families that have loved ones in this home. Entertainment as always was fun and engaging for all. The staff go above and beyond to
make these days enjoyable. Lovely memories have been made, forever grateful.

Lovely home! Staff are amazing, friendly, nothing is too much trouble.
Good facilities, clean, nice meals.
Visitors get offered a cup of tea at break times if you're visiting the residents.


Great get together on June 29th, residents enjoyed themselves. Music, stall, singer, drinks and food were

all laid on. Great day had by all.

I can honestly say that all the staff at Victoria Manor are friendly, caring and very diligent in all their tasks. They look after all the residents with due care and respect. I could not recommend this nursing home enough. The therapy puppy is an excellent idea for all.

Although the requirements to use the services of residential care home are not one to be recommended, this facility does provide a very good, safe and secure home for my mother, who is now in the latter stages of dementia.
The staff ensure she is safe, clean and secure which is all I can ask of them
because my mum no longer has capacity to ask for anything herself.

My brother has sadly just passed away. The carers took turns to sit with my brother in his room. He was never on his own to his last breath taken. My brother was really happy and settled at Victoria Manor, where he was treated with dignity, the care that was shown to him was above and beyond. I haven't
got the words to express my gratitude for the care and empathy shown to him. I'm very grateful to all the staff involved.

Victoria Manor Care Home is in a quiet and beautiful area. Rooms are kept clean and tidy which they should be. The dining room is ideal, being bright and spacious, allowing the residents to make friends with each other and then they generally sit together talking during the day. There are plenty of
things going on to keep the residents involved, especially at the weekends. However, the one thing that stands out in the sixteen weeks that my wife has been there is that all the staff, doing a difficult job, go about their duties with a smile on their faces,

The care provided by the staff has been second to none. My mom has been provided with a safe, nurturing environment. She has been given the opportunity to socialise with others. Having worked in care since she was 17 years old, Tina Booton, has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and support to elderly people, to enrich their lives.


Tina specialises in dementia care and has worked with Dementia Care Matters and the Alzheimer's Society. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Tina closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


She also works hard to arrange activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Victoria Manor.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Tina remarked:
“Trying to make a difference for the better, for the people and the home.”


Outside of work, Tina enjoys spending her time as a brownie leader and has run the unit for 25 years now.
