The home is very warm and friendly. My mother is cared for very well indeed. If any problems arise I am contacted and informed. The home has lots of events, summer fayre, celebrations etc, and my mother is always encouraged to take part. My mother's room is always kept very clean and tidy and her clothes
are laundered regularly.

Mother has been resident for several months we found everything & everyone totally to our satisfaction & that has continued throughout. Whilst mam has good & bad days due to dementia the staff have been great & always keep us well involved & informed very happy with everything.

My mum was discharged from hospital for respite care. Within a week of being here the improvement to both her physical and mental health has been incredible, and we are hoping she can go home much sooner then planned. The staff are extremely helpful, pleasant and supportive. Every aspect of my mums

My dad is very happy and settled in Stoneleigh. The staff are excellent and always attend to his needs whenever needed. They are all very pleasant, lovely carers.

In general, care has been lovely for Mam. Mam's health is deteriorating and she is doing a lot less i.e.: hobbies etc.

Susan is a Healthcare Professional with a number of years’ experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Susan closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Stoneleigh.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Susan remarked:


“I love working with and getting to know our Residents and hearing their stories.”


Outside of work, Susan enjoys walking holidays in the Lake District and Yorkshire with her partner and spending time with her daughters and grandchildren.
