Rooms too small, my dad stops me taking things in from home as there is nowhere to put anything. Food is satisfactory, meat could be better quality and cooked so more manageable for the elderly and infirm. Can't fault the staff, they are great with my dad. Spoke to senior staff a couple of times in
the last 5-months regarding a couple of concerns, nothing major, but sorted swiftly.

I am happy that staff have been responsive to concerns no matter how small they may be and have been able to resolve them to your satisfaction. I am sorry that you feel the room is too small and that storage is not what you would expect, unfortunately, this is something I cannot effect any change on. In respect of your comments re food, I would appreciate it if you could discuss your concerns with the management team in the home who will do their utmost to work with you and your Father to remedy this.

In these recent difficult times, we are experiencing I have been kept informed about everything that has been happening at Stoneleigh both by mail and phone, and find the care has been excellent. I live over 100-miles from the home but have never felt isolated. Information and care have been both caring
and informative. At this time, can't fault the staff, care and concern have been excellent.

My husband arrived at Stoneleigh for a short stay. The room was small but nice. He was then made permanent and I am hoping he will be moved to a slightly larger room. My husband has settled well and the staff are friendly and helpful especially during lockdown.

My Mam came into Stoneleigh on 9th March 2020 for two weeks respite and was made permanent on 23rd March. It was in the middle of the lockdown for Coronavirus. I had to empty Mam's flat and bring stuff to Stoneleigh. All staff has helped Mam and me, washing, disinfecting, cleaning everything I brought
for Mam, as well as their ordinary jobs in these challenging times. Mam has settled very well. Her health and appearance have improved so much. Thank you all for her care.

Stoneleigh Care Home always operates in an efficient caring manner, but I have to say that from the start of the Coronavirus, they have been excellent. The staff always are friendly and caring, with excellent standards for the clients and their own personal hygiene standards and they will always go

My dad came to Stoneleigh in December 2019 from hospital. The staff are excellent with dad and are very caring. Even when my dad is struggling, they are very patient and encouraging. I am extremely happy that dad is in a safe and caring environment. Thank you.

My husband is a resident of Stoneleigh Care Home since he came into their care he has always been treated with care. Respect and dignity from the management through to the carers and domestic staff. There is a wonderful sense of family and everyone is treated equally, the visitors are also treated with
the same courtesy the kitchen staff always offer a hot drink on arrival and a meal if required. I would gladly recommend Stoneleigh to anyone you couldn't ask for and would be hard pushed to find a better level of care.

As a regular visitor, I would highly recommend Stoneleigh Care Home. The staff are all lovely and very helpful. I know that my dad is properly cared for in here. He has been in several times for respite before being a permanent resident. Our family wouldn't have put him anywhere else.

Went to visit my mother-in-law and was greeted with a very happy hello the staff are very friendly and considerate nothing seems to be any trouble for them. It is very clean, tidy and warm too. My mother-in-law is very happy there. I was pleased to see how happy she was. Keep up the great work well

My father is currently residing at Stoneleigh. Today was his Birthday, and the kitchen staff made him a splendid cake, he was presented with a gift from the staff. The previous month it was my parents Ruby Wedding Anniversary, and the care home went out of their way to make it a memorable occasion for
them both. My mother was presented with cards and a bouquet, and again the kitchen staff made them a beautiful cake as well as taking them out for the day to celebrate.
The staff and management here really do go above and beyond the call of duty. I can’t stress enough how good they have been, the care and consideration shown is excellent, and my family and I really want them to know how grateful we are.
Thank you to all the staff, you do an excellent job.

"Kindness to me is promoting safety, happiness and dignity."


Susan is a Healthcare Professional with a number of years’ experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Susan closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Stoneleigh.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Susan remarked:


“I love working with and getting to know our Residents and hearing their stories.”


Outside of work, Susan enjoys walking holidays in the Lake District and Yorkshire with her partner and spending time with her daughters and grandchildren.
