Glanffrwd Care Home

My wife though suffering with Alzheimers and could not speak was treated with the utmost kindness by all the staff with no exception. The care was excellent she had a very nice room. I can only praise the whole package of the care home.

So after all the social paperwork he went in today and the staff were brilliant from the manager maintaince chap front of house dinning room staff in fact to many to list he is settling in nicely and we are so glad we found Glanffwrd.

Staff are helpful and caring. Always a delight to visit and have lovely chats.

Since my mum has been here she has settled lovely. The staff are excellent and caring.

My mother is in the home and I can see she has the best care from the home. I think extra credit should go to four members of staff in particular as they work so hard looking after my mother and I can see that they go over and above not only for my mother but for myself and my father. They always make us feel welcome, informed and offer anything they can to help. They’re a credit to the home. Thank you all.

Although my mother was resident for only a short period of time, we were immediately struck by how welcoming, caring and understanding the staff are in this beautiful care home. They could not do enough to help us through an immensely difficult time, ensuring my mother was treated with complete dignity and respect. The home itself has a lovely, warm and homely atmosphere and is spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend Glanffrwd Care Home.

My mother-in-law sadly passed away at Glanffrwd recently. She had resided for five years and ten months. All staff were excellent. The caring staff were exceptional.

The home is a beautiful place, lovely and very clean. Very friendly staff, plenty of entertainment going on for the residents and the food looks very nice. Overall, it's a lovely home.

Excellent care shown to my mother by all staff and management. We as a family were informed of every aspect of my mother's care. Full support shown to the family.

The care Mum gets is excellent, the staff are caring and compassionate with attention to every little detail. We are always informed of Mum's changing health conditions and the government guidelines. A little more care is needed with the laundry - folding and hanging (I understand this may be staff shortages).

Due to covid restrictions, my mother hasn't adapted to her new situation. The staff have been excellent and tried their best but at 100 years old my mother struggled.

Having visited her over the last three months I have found the staff extremely helpful and have no complaints. It is difficult to make an appointment to visit sometimes but on the whole satisfactory. My mother seems to be quite happy here.

My mother reached her 98th birthday this month, she is being looked after extremely well. The excellent nursing care she has received has meant we have lots of time with her. She has been a resident at the care home for almost 4 years. As a family, we wanted to celebrate outside so that her grandchildren and great-grandchildren could be with her. The staff reinstalled the gazebo outside and to our surprise baked a beautiful cake for us to celebrate with. Mum arrived looking so smart with make-up on and her pearls which made her feel so good and she was more responsive as a result.
