Glanffrwd Care Home

A lovely clean and tidy home. Staff very caring to the resident and the family. Father in law was asked if he likes the home and staff, he replied, "I have no complaints, I am treated very well". Staff always welcoming and helpful. Staff always busy but not too busy to help with any requests the family or father in law made. I would say the overall experience at Glanffrwd was a positive one. Thank you.

Lovely place where my grandmother lived and now where my partner's grandmother lives.

Food was brilliant, large variety. Everyone enjoyed the party, everyone felt welcome, the staff were brilliant, especially one particular member of staff. We are all extremely grateful for the party.

My Mum is here for five years and overall nothing bad. She lives here with pleasure but still misses her home in Poland where she was born.

Very good home, looks after clients very well. Good communication with outside professional staff, e.g. audiology department. Always hands client notes to staff to fill in what happened at the appointment so the family can see.

My mother was able to spend the last months of her life at Glanffryd, she was always treated with respect and dignity, the manager and staff became friends. We as a family were greatly touched by the staff's attendance at her funeral. Mam spent twenty-one months at the home and it is my belief the environment and care extended mam's life when she had become very frail. The family will all miss you and your wonderful team.

Lovely, friendly home. Staff are very pleasant and happy to help. It's a great comfort to know my parents are well cared for. As regards to management, they are all very approachable and easy to get along with.

There's good liaison between the home and doctors/dentist/hairdresser etc too.

My father-in-law has never felt so happy or comfortable in any other care service. Professional, polite and friendly staff. They are quick to answer any queries and we feel we can ask anything and receive honest answers. Wonderful service.

I have been very impressed with the staff and care provided. My grandfather-in-law has only recently arrived here, in a short period of time I can see an improvement in his personality.
