Glanffrwd Care Home

I find the home very clean. The staff I have met are very good to talk to and are good to my wife. I have no complaints about the home or staff.

Very happy with the staff, they are very friendly and helpful when we come to visit my sister-in-law.

Overall, excellent care is given by staff to Mum. Staff are caring, kind and considerate to Mum. Glanffrwd is managed very well. I recommend to all.

A friendly atmosphere when I entered. Light and clean environment. Contented and happy my cousin is.

Care home is always neat and tidy. The staff are very pleasant. My father is always presentable and seems happy and well.

The care that has been provided to my mother throughout her stay has been outstanding. They have kept me informed of all developments along the way. The staff have been fabulous and I would highly recommend the home to anyone that would need one.

We are very disappointed with the way Glanffrwd Care Home treats us as visitors. The procedures seem to change on a weekly basis and we are unable to book a regular slot which is the preference of our relative and visiting weekly is a perpetual battle. While the home seems to deal reasonably well with the health and hygiene they are not good with stimulation and entertainment, some of the staff can be very rude and we sometimes struggle to get accurate information.

The staff are always very helpful and as long as our mother is being looked after and is happy, we are happy.

Since covid, everything has changed. Staff have kept us informed, now we are back visiting. Staff are very helpful, making our visit as easy as possible.

The care home is close and easy to get to. Staff are polite, my uncle said the food is good there. My uncle is a quiet old man who likes to watch sport, sometimes he says his TV doesn't work, but it's not his TV it's the ariel for someone who is paying for his care I think this should be fixed, especially when staff know about it. Other than this the care home staff are compassionate and understanding.

I am fully confident that my mother is very well cared for. I know she is warm, fed well, kept clean and is in comfortable surroundings. If ever she is unwell, the staff get medical help immediately if they don't have staff to cope with it on site. My mother is bed-ridden and sleeps most of the time but never seems distressed, upset or depressed when we visit which is a good sign.

Staff extremely helpful and caring. Unable to comment on inside the home as sure to covid-19 restrictions have only had garden/window visits. Communication from them is excellent. Good value for money. Very happy with the overall care mum is receiving.

I 100% cannot fault Glanffrwd Care Home as a home for my mum. I have recommended the home numerous times to friends for their family. The staff are absolutely brilliant. I haven't enough words to express how thankful I am for the care mum has received and continues to receive. Throughout the pandemic all the staff have given 100% to keeping mum safe and they have nursed her to health through her Covid. Thank you all!

My partner has been in Glanffrwd for several years and I can only say how superb the home is and all the staff are fantastic, and look after my loved one so well.

I enjoy visiting my mother here, it is a lovely, pleasant, homely place. My mother is happy, and the staff are very helpful and kind. Also very welcoming, and my mother enjoys the food here.

My relative has been a resident at the care home for nearly four years. She has received excellent care and there hasn't been any concerns. Inevitably, medical issues have arisen but these have always been dealt with promptly and efficiently. During the present pandemic, the staff have been in regular contact in order to keep us informed of the health of our relative and this has been much appreciated. The care home has dealt with all the problems brought about by the pandemic in an efficient professional manner.

The staff at Glanffrwd are excellent carers for my elderly grandmother. I couldn't wish for better, they are very kind and very hardworking.
