Overall Experience
My wife was a resident for two years until she passed away in April 2017. The care, concern and kindness shown during her stay was second to none, it was truly a 'home from home'

I have nothing but praise for her care during this period and I will continue to visit the many friends made there, both staff and residents.

Overall Experience

All staff at Glanffrwyd are always helpful, cheerful and available. I have always found them to be caring and happy to help. Dad has been there for 8 months and has settled well and is always clean and tidy. He is happy in Glanffwyd and has become very fond of the staff. Every visit is always a positive experience.

Overall Experience

My mum was admitted to this home on 30/9/16. She was very weak and we didn't think she would make it to Xmas. The love and care she was shown was incredible and she picked up. She was 91 and passed in her sleep. At least she went peacefully knowing she was loved and well cared for. Mum has been in two other homes prior to this one. No comparison in the care she received prior to Glanffrwd it is wonderful.

Overall Experience
My father has had the unfortunate luck to need emergency A&E attention recently. Each time this has happened, I have been contacted immediately by the nursing staff to reassure and inform me of the developments. Their approach is efficient and extremely caring. I really do feel that with the care providers/nurses and myself that we are a prime example of 'teamwork' in action.

Every member of staff within the home that I have met/had dealings with are a credit to you.

Mu Mum has been resident at Glanffrwd for nearly 3 years. She is happy and well cared for.
The staff are attentive and very caring and are always able to tell me what kind of day Mum has had.
They treat her with dignity, kindness and a sense of humour, which is appreciated both by Mum and her family.
The family are always kept informed of any issues and any concerns raised are always addressed,

I would not hesitate to recommend Glanffrwd to anyone looking for a safe, and caring home.

Overall Experience
My 89-year-old aunt has been a resident of Glanffrwd Care Home for the best part of two months. During that time she has experienced care and compassion to the highest standard. At all times she has been treated with dignity and understanding.
What is refreshing is that when questions are put to the staff concerning my aunt's health a straight answer is received, there is no evasiveness or fobbing off.

To date, I have nothing but the highest praise for the treatment she is receiving.

Overall Experience

I have no concerns with the care I receive, although I believe in the mornings staff could be helped by providing extra staff members to be able to see to residents within the time scales needed. I feel that all the staff are happy to work within teams but feel the correct skill mix is important in order for care to be carried out in an excellent manner. I am overall happy with the staff, the home and the care provided.

Overall Experience

The care is of a very good standard, with the residents treated with care and dignity. The staff are very polite and helpful and make a great effort to ensure that the residents/relatives are made to feel welcome. My mother is generally happy and very well cared fro, which is very reassuring.

I find Glanffrwd a very friendly professional care home. The staff are sociable and are willing to help in any way they can. The care home is very clean and the food is excellent. the care mam receives is very good. My family and I are very happy with Glanffrwd knowing mam is well cared for and looked after.
