PAT dogs regular visits

Our loveable therapy dogs regularly visit our home. Bringing so much joy not just to our residents but also to our staff.

They now come bounding in to our residents rooms and literally jump on their laps.

For those that are bed bound this is especially lovely to see, as they are both very placid and calm and just lay on our residents beds curling up against them, happy to get cuddles.

Therapy dogs can help to increase a person’s feelings of self-worth plus they also lift a resident’s mood. It’s great to see a smiling a face when the dogs are in your arms.
