We have visited our friend for nearly two years. The cake and coffee at reception is a superb touch. Todays coffee & walnut was exquisite and the best cake so far as moist, fluffy and topping delightful
Thank you KW for your valuable review. Your feedback means a lot to us all here at Longueville Court. I will share this fantastic feedback with my whole Team. Once again thank you so much for your time to do this review.
This review is dedicated entirely to the angels who work in Skylark. My darling dad was a resident for six months, until his recent passing, and we were consistently blown away by the care provided by Dani, Simi, Ester, Rose, Nanita, Mimi, Victoria....and the rest of the team. Lovely Denise on reception also deserves a mention. They do a job many would not want to do, but they do so cheerfully and compassionately. I was deeply moved by how caring they were (being so calm with my dad, telling him that they loved him when he was agitated and their tears when he passed). I genuinely don't know how they do what they do and remain so lovely. On another matter, getting in and out of the building out of hours was often a pain, more so if I was with my elderly mum, often waiting outside in the cold for 15 minutes or so with her while we waited for someone to let us in. I suggest a security guard is on the door, out of hours, to make it easier to get in and out.
Thank you Vanessa for your review. Your feedback means a lot to us and I will share this feedback with my whole Team.
Parking can be a pain but happy to walk a bit.
Would recommend.

The care provided for my mother, who had vascular dementia, during her 3 1/2 year stay at Longueville Court, was always excellent. Although a difficult patient at times, she was always treated with dignity and kindness. I cannot praise the staff of this home highly enough, from the reception and admin staff, to the care staff and nurses. I would be happy to recommend this care home to anyone who needs the first class care it provides.

I visit my friend (an ex-history teacher) twice a week. Today I joined an activity with her - a talk with pictures of Queen Victoria and life in Victorian times. The Activity Leader was dressed in Victorian clothes, she had prepared and researched carefully. She delivered and engaged the 8 residents with interesting photos and questions. My friend really enjoyed this activity. Well done.

All the staff are always caring, friendly and helpful and genuinely take the time to get to know the residents and their family. They are happy to help in anyway they can. Many of the staff are extremely knowledgeable about different aspects of residential care etc and are pleased to help with any queries or questions you may have.
The home is spotlessly clean and the grounds and gardens delightfully maintained. The food is excellent with a wide variety of options and choices.

The care, compassion and dedication of the team in caring for my mother in law during her declining health has been amazing. Without fail, every employee worked so hard to make her time comfortable and supported us every day that we visited. There is nothing but praise that we can say for the team. Thank you all so much.

Mum came to Barchester Longueville Court Care Home in February and slowly deteriorated until her death on 17/12. During that time, I visited three times a week. Every time, all the staff were polite and helpful, I met many carers and everyone dealt with Mum in a gentle and care-filled way. I could tell they genuinely cared for her welfare and it gave me great peace of mind that she was being so well looked after. Whether it was the cleaner, admin ladies, carer or nursing staff, the ethos set at the top filtered down to make a wonderful team. Thank you.

This home is absolutely amazing and has exceeded my expectations. From the moment you enter Barchester Longueville Court Care Home, you get the warmest greeting by everyone, especially the lovely receptionist. Refreshments are readily available for visitors and everywhere is spotlessly clean and tidy. My dear friend's room is outstanding with a homely feel and a great view. The carers are all warm and friendly and look after their residents amazingly. Nothing is too much trouble. We have seen my friend grow in health and well-being due to their outstanding care. I would most highly recommend this home to anyone. It's truly outstanding.

Mum went in for palliative care for the last two weeks of her life. I went in every day to be with her and couldn't praise the carers and nursing staff enough. I am so pleased that we decided to use Barchester Longueville Court Care Home for palliative care instead of having her at home. Mum has cancer and other complex needs which were all taken into account by both the nurses and carers. I was listened to and totally supported alongside Mum and given advise on what to expect. The nurses called the in-house doctor regularly when needed and were able to get immediate advise and medication. Overall, a very friendly care home.
Thank you, Debbie, so much for your amazing review of our home and the care we provide. The Longueville Court team endeavour to provide the very best care and meet the needs and wishes of our residents. We are so happy to hear you and your mum got all the support needed, I will be sure to share this review with the staff.
He is content and would not wish to move away. He has to be fed at every meal and the carers do this with patience. The nursing staff are mindful of his needs and he is constantly monitored.
Whilst communication is getting increasingly difficult, he is always trying to joke with the staff who clearly have great affection for him.
For myself, I am always met with a happy smile at reception and I find the nurses and carers pleasant and easy to deal with despite their busy routines.
Thank you so much for your review of our home and the care we provide. The Longueville Court team endeavour to provide the very best care and meet the needs and wishes of our residents. I am pleased to hear we are achieving this and it makes us proud. I will share this with my team. Thank you one more time and hope we will see you again.
Everyone, including the reception staff, is so welcoming. The care the staff show on Kingfisher is amazing. Not only are they amazing with the staff but with the relatives as well. It is such a difficult time when a family member has to come into a care home but they make you feel at such ease. The nurses and carers get to know and support us all which makes it that little bit easier. The manager is the most caring and hands-on manager, nothing is too much trouble. Carers are so passionate in their job. This is just to name a few but alll staff are amazing. Thank you for the care you provide.
Thank you, Hollie, so much for your amazing review of our home and the care we provide.
