Strictly Come Dancing comes to Balsall Common

What a super surprise Harper Fields care home for the elderly in Balsall Common had last week... When ex-employee Lauren Oakley came back for a visit.

Birmingham’s Lauren Oakley is one of four new professional dancers joining the 2022 series of Strictly Come Dancing.

In 2022 Lauren doesn’t have a celebrity partner, however, we’ll see her performing in all the professional group numbers. Lauren performed a fabulous Rumba with Neil Jones in the week two results show – together they danced brilliantly to Robbie Williams ‘She’s the One.'

Hayley Wilkinson, general manager said: "Our residents do love a bit of Strictly. Lauren Oakley we’re incredibly proud of you, roll on the weekend."

Lauren bought a signed copy of the brand new Anton Du Beke’s latest book ‘We’ll Meet Again’ for us to raffle.
