History comes alive at Harper Fields

Guest Speaker Stephen Gill who is a trustee of Balsall common History group, came to Harper fields care home to deliver a presentation based around old photographs of the history of Balsall common.

Sharon is the homes Activities Coordinator said "Our residents who lived in the village were engaged, entertained and able to share their knowledge with Stephen. Residents who have moved from other villages, towns and cities even countries found it enthralling, to learn about the area they now live in.

"We enjoyed cheese & wine after the presentation. When Stephen was happy to chat and answer any questions our residents had. Thank you so much Stephen for a very interesting and informative afternoon."
