Local care home physiotherapist is through to the final of Queen Margaret University Outstanding Practice educators awards.
Along with many other educators all who had been nominated by their students, Gerard attended the awards virtually along with Home Manager Alina Brehar and other Drummond staff and residents who were all so pleased when Gerard won the award!
Gerard Fox, Physiotherapist at Drummond grange Care Home has been selected for his achievements in his work supporting physio students as they attended their university placements at Drummond Grange care home.
The Outstanding Practice Educators Awards are organised by Queen Margaret University. The awards aim is to celebrate the hard work that our educators put in to support QMU physiotherapy students.
Alina Brehar, General Manager for Drummond Grange Care Home said: “This award celebrates individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence in their work and Gerard could not be more dedicated to top-quality care. He always has so much time for his students and giving them valuable hands on experience to greater their studies. He is an incredibly important part of life here in the care home and we are all so proud of him here at Drummond!’
