Barchester’s Wood Grange care home, in Bourne got in the Christmas spirit by hosting their annual Christmas Market for residents, relatives and the community. Wood Grange’s Christmas Market was in full swing with John Dalton playing the harp by the Christmas Tree, local businesses Sue’s Paper Boutique, Carole Ellis, Ann Wakeford’s paintings, Spruce & Drey homewares selling their goods for the perfect Christmas gift, giant soft toy tombola, bric-a-brac, tombola and a resident’s stall which had products made by residents, relatives and friends.
Everyone enjoyed a feast of festive foods prepared by the home’s chef, Radovan & Gee. It couldn’t be a Christmas Market without a choir, a huge thanks to the ladies from South Lincs Ladies Choir who created the most wonderful festive atmosphere. Residents loved having you at Wood Grange.
General Manager, Katya Petrova said: “Christmas really is the most wonderful time of the year, and our fantastic residents love to get festive, so we’ve pulled out all the stops. It is so lovely to see them all getting into the Christmas spirit, it is my favourite time of year.”
