Wood Grange is always welcoming when we visit with our school council representatives. Our primary school is very local and our young people love popping in to play games, making pizza and recently decorating a St. Patricks Day banner for their lounge! Thank you Wood Grange!

Since arriving in September, my father has received such good care. His health, physically, has improved immensely. Whilst his mental capacity is reducing, Barchester Wood Grange Care Home is able to advise and offer practical help to make his "journey" as safe and comfortable as possible.

What a difference Barchester Wood Grange Care Home has made to Mum! She is so much happier thanks to the amazing staff, carers and activities coordinators, She is joining in with the activities, with particular mention to the excellent Caribbean afternoon, the indoor golf, flower arranging and the church services. She loves to sit in the well-kept garden which has looked so lovely during the summer months. We had to make the difficult decision to move her in May and are 100% happy with our choice of residence. Katya began her journey at Wood Grange as a nurse before progressing to Head of the Willoughby community and later becoming the home’s General Manager. She has since progressed to her current role as Senior General Manager, bringing her extensive clinical knowledge, leadership experience and passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care to the role.
Katya’s dedication has been recognised throughout her career with Barchester. In 2013, she received Barchester’s Registered Nurse of the Year Award, and in 2021 she was named a divisional winner in the Registered Manager of the Year competition.
