Hospital Radio Exeter

Well, what an incredibly heart warming and wonderful afternoon we had last week.

Thank you SO much to Hospital Radio Exeter for joining us to broadcast from Cumberland Grange in celebration of 50 years.

Jo, resident here at Cumberland Grange, was one of the first volunteers to start Hospital Radio Exeter alongside Malcolm who was with us on the day and still volunteering to this day for the charity.

To be able to give Jo this opportunity to speak on the radio once again after so many years has meant so very much to her and we are very grateful to Malcolm, Julia and Richard for making it happen.

Residents Jo, Avril and Brian and staff member Mica speak to Richard and Julia in between heart felt shout outs and song requests from residents, family members and staff.

We sang and danced the afternoon away followed by bubbles and cake. Just perfect.
